I actually like that you started to slow down and try to do triggers/stack properly. That is the standard I want my commander games to have. There are things that slip through (like resolving the draws at 20:50 - eminence is draw, discard; replaced to draw 2, discard 1; only after you discard can the trigger from The Council go on the stack), but magic is hard and it's the increased effort that counts.

Treebeard was my first deck, he quickly became my baby deck. I havent seen many play him so its great to see lynch show the power of the great tree! Hes my baby wooden NUKE! So glad to get to watch him work. - Dont step on screaming nemisis. Redwood 4:20

Daniel’s threat assessment was very questionable. Would have been better off just asked to have apex devastator swing at the life gain deck with the one ring. Just looking at card quality of cards alone should have been huge red flags.

Treebeard is super cool as a commander. It is one of my newest decks but totally different from the way Lynch built it. My pod would hate the constant triggers so I have zero gain one life triggers in the deck and opted for huge life gain, which is way less annoying to play against and still super strong.

that Satoru deck needs a lot of deckbuilding as at this moment it has none. deathtouch creatures are irrelevant, you need unblockable stuff and big bad evil things. also watch the trigger whenever you use any ninjutsu ability, coz you missed the only one this game had to offer.

There really was no benefit to Daniel helping lynch kill Kevin, you get nothing from helping another player win and it doesn’t address the problem that was lynches board state. Had Kevin been kept around at 20 commander damage he would have had to police lynch the entire game due to treebeard having trample. He was so exciting taking credit for taking Kevin out but he threw away a heroic intervention and was celebrating a bad play.

I get where you're coming from, but games also gotta end at some point. I used to feel the way you do about a lot of combos that would pop up in my games, that whole "we were having a great game and then the combo brought it to a sudden, undeserved end". Like every effect in magic there is a counterplay though, the best feeling isn't resolving an expropriate, it's casting a Narset's Reversal targeting an opponents expropriate!

TBH, a deck with extra turns should declare that at the start IMO but I wouldnt play with you either if you would scoop over a magic card and get salty. Finish the game. Talk about it. If it doesnt resolve naturally find a new pod?
