Hey Griff, been watching your videos for years and gained some valuable tips so thanks for all your work and perspectives on the truth. I also have an issue with the converter pushing up on the thrust. What size cooler lines are you running from the box?
@griffsrearmountturbothemod16232 жыл бұрын
Gday mate, I run dash 8 braided lines, with a single pass I think 6 row cooler from memory i think its a 3/8 id pipe size. Look into dump valves, I was going to use one if I couldn't keep pressure under control. Its basically a relief valve that you can fit to cooler line and reroute it straight to trans pan... happy to answer any more questions, Goodluck hope you sort it👍
@jackstance2 жыл бұрын
@@griffsrearmountturbothemod1623 Great idea never thought of a dump valve! I'll hook up a pressure guage to the cooler line and if there's excess pressure I'll look at a dump valve. My new setup runs 3/8 lines, I'll check if they're ID, I can't remember exactly. Cheers for the tips, keep up the great vids 👍

Hey mate, I was using the old fuel pump location for oil drain back/breather. I’ve since found out the passenger side of the sump is best because the windage or the direction the crank spins will suck the oil in. On the drivers side it will try to push oil out👍🏻
@griffsrearmountturbothemod16232 жыл бұрын
That makes alot of sense mate, the amount of turbulence the crank makes would be insane in top end revs.. Thankyou for that tip👍

I'm glad you were smart enough to step back and question the powers that be. It was immediately obvious to me something wasn't right with the rona when they saying you still should get a shot even if you got it and have natural immunity.

Some people just are not ready to hear the truth or just live such a great life they don't care what happens to their fellow humans until it affects them or someone close to them then they will wake up.

Can't say I disagree with your awakening talk but some people didn't have a choice. In victoria it was get shot or don't have a job and not alot of people could take the risk of living off savings for unknown period, if you have school kids you had to conform, if you rented you couldn't go to house inspection without vac passport so you'd end up homeless etc honestly there was probably less restrictions on the Jewish in the ghettos of Poland under nazi occupation

@@billmopar6461 sadly there wasn't enough people with spines to get that outcome, l honestly expected more rebellion but everyone crumbled almost instantly. Victoria had it worse we had house arrest with work release, curfews etc, had to have papers to leave house 5km free zone from home address hence my nazi reference. Rona was bullshit anyway My Mrs got it was just tired for 2 days both my boys got it you wouldn't of even known except the multiple positive tests it wasn't that contagious l still kissed Mrs never got it read kids books at bedtime never got it sons wrestling for our week lockdown both times they didn't pass it on to each other. Sister works in Alfred hospital in covid ward so I'll already knew it was bullshit. Sadly they used blackmail so you had no choice. Ffs my Mrs had to get it to work from home... All in all pretty disappointed more people didn't come to rallies

Have you thought about running a multi layer metal head gasket ? Much stronger and not as prone to failure from detonation.
@griffsrearmountturbothemod1623 Жыл бұрын
The boost level im running a composite gasket has saved my engine many times.. Their were three problems I was having and it took a few years of learning on that particular setup to overcome. No1 was putting in boost referenced powervalves to fix lean outs.. no2 switching from pump fuel to e85 allowed alot cooer engine running along with better octane. No3 was improving fuel distribution in to cylinders. Since working out problems head gaskets have been reliable, and if their is a problem thats my fuse so to speak 👍
@kentaylor5842 Жыл бұрын
@@griffsrearmountturbothemod1623 that makes sense, instead of finding a better head gasket you fixed the issue causing it. Sometimes that can be the longer harder route but definitely the better one in the end with gaining knowledge and making better reliable horsepower.
