Ellie, you have changed my life and the lives of the women around me by the work you are doing. I cannot explain how massive the shift from "My body is not enough to look good in this item" to "this item is wrong for my body" has impacted my self image. I feel like an explorer when I'm in the shops instead of a failure. I have gotten so many of my friends to change their perspectives on their bodies by bombarding them with all this amazing information that you've shared in such a clever and digestible way. As a former student of Literature in I'm so HAPPY to see another fellow bookish nerd getting published....HURRAY 🥳📚💜 I have been watching your channel since the Pandemic started and I have truly enjoyed your gentle and creative energy, I have learned to look deeper into my own motivations for consuming and wearing the clothes I have owned throughout the years. THANK YOU FOR Demystifying this process and brining ease, substance and whimsy to this genre of content. I absolutely appreciate that you don't push shopping trends or products onto your audience. I'm 51, and I no longer feel the fun, fantasy and excitement I used to experience when I first got into "fashion", as a young adult in high school and throughout my 20's in the 1990's. But I realize that it's because I have lost a connection with my own personal style too. Obviously I have less time to think about this "stuff" now, but I do remember how energized I used to feel when I wore my little ensembles back in the day. They were my armor in many ways. I would love to recapture that feeling again, but in a more sober and sustainable way. I don't need the armor anymore.
