The thing that hit me was leaving with house and not telling her bye. And then coming home to a quiet house. My heart hurts for you and your family. I had just see and commented on the video you posted after her surgery. I am so sorry. In the last four years we have had to say goodbye to our cane corso, who was 8, due to massive heart arrhythmia, and our sweet pitt from stomach cancer, whom we rescued a year and a half earlier virtually on her deathbed. It is so hard to loss our babies, especially when we have to make the hard choice. We had a heeler years ago. Lakota was one of the smartest dogs we have ever seen. Bless you and your family. The hole in your heart may never close, but other babies will come to love you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
