​@@caitlinmariereacts *I didn't write this, found it online* park jimin did suffer from an eating disorder during the WINGS era and tended to starve himself along with over exercising, making him pass out during dance rehearsals and sit at the table while other members were eating and just watched them, even when they invited him to eat. during a tv show he admitted to only eating 1 meal for 10 days and said that it made him severely ill. fans did realise how much weight he had lost over a short period of time and started to get really concerned. his cute and chubby cheeks had disappeared but overall his whole body was so thin. jimin really does struggle with body image and has pretty low self esteem which effects him a lot. he is also really hard on himself and gets frustrated then breaks down when he thinks that he’s not doing good enough for people as he wants to make his fans happy. his members try their best to compliment and tell him that he doing great.

This song, omg this song. Hurts so bad when you know the context, but so beautiful. When i watched classical musicians reactions, they mentioned one amazing thing - the whole song is in minor key, except for the chorus which is major; nevertheless, the chorus is the saddest part and there's the word Lie. Because major key(aka happiness) is a L I E. Mindblowing, really!

All of the meanings of the Wings solo songs don’t completely have to do with the storyline, but the short films do! This song is extremely sad when you know the meaning of the lyrics though. 😭

Actually I think the storyline's writers based some things in their songs (not the other way around, BTS doesn't write songs for the storyline, they do concepts), so although I do know their lyrics are related to their real life not the characters, some aspects of it were used in the storyline, like SUGA's piano/first love, Jimins lies, JK support from his hyungs, JHope's mom issue (even if the song is dedicated to his mom, and is super cute, the storyline took a turn to talk about his character mom) and so on... Some of them we don't know for sure the real meaning, like Stigma, but I'm pretty sure the writers connected the song to Tae's character story... Is just a thought 🥰 The storyline still goes on without the music tho, and BTS still write about their lives, and anyone can interpret them separately 😊😊

also the song has a differnt impact for Jimin.that period was a really difficult one for our chim chim:(( he was struggeling A LOOOT with self-esteem.People were so rude to him and he started to feel so bad on his own body, and he became depressed( he started a very strict diet and cause him some medical issues, like he ate just one little meal a day, and a lot of other things) .He is also known for beeing so hard with his own person and a REAL perfectionist.Now he is started to have more trust in himself, thanks to the other member and the armys. and of course he was the only one that could solve that “problem”. I RECOMAND you , after watching “Blood sweet and tears”, to watch the video with “BTS reacting to Blood sweet and tears”.You ll see that members are trying to make Jimin to feel good,to make him happy but he is so concentrate on the video and maybe what it is wrong.Uhh..why is him so hard to himself.He is an amzing singer, an UMBELIVEBLE dancer, and THE BEST human being.

Remember the apple and that painting - they will show up,again later. In this song Jimin is talking about himself and his feeling of being something he wasn’t. Each of the individual films were written by the members and have a meaning to them as individuals. What is he reaching for - think back to I Need U - there was a scene in there that connects to this. Also you need to react to Jimin doing this live - the dance is freaking amazing.

Caitlin, I am LOVING your reactions to the storyline. You're even getting some of the things that didn't pick up on the first time I watched these videos. Without giving away any spoilers, I think all you need to do is just think a little a bit deeper about what you're seeing. Your "Junkgood is dead" theory, even though it wasn't 100% correct, was a great start. There was something SUGA said during BTS' grammy museum interview, he said "For a lot of our songs, there are story arcs, rather than each individual song having its own meaning, there's a story. So it may be difficult to gauge what a song means without listening to the whole album, without listening to the entire story arc. So what I would strongly recommend for everyone is to listen to the entire album and think about the story and think about the story arc that pierces through that album." I think what he said resonates so much with the universe that they've created. I know specifically for me, it was so hard for me to really grasp what was going on until I watched all the short films rather than one at a time. Also, I am so early to this video & damn proud of it. LMAOOO

My theory is that Jimin witnessed someone being shot when he was a kid- which is why there was a gunshot in the short film- and he got traumatized. Because of his trauma he developed some sort of health issues, causing him to be stuck in a hospital, where he tries to drown himself- which is depicted in the I Need U mv.

The Picture is kinda like in the blood sweat and tears mv, while jimin is like reaching his hand or something that simbolizes jhope, and the time when he falls into the bath tub, that was his suicide scene in I Need U MV, and that pills part was jhope’s pills because jhope was depressed of Jin’s death. Bty in every MV and short films simbolized their depression of jin. And the flaming piano represents Suga.

Ah. The forest image is interesting and recurs many times. The last time is in the Fake Love MV. The forest is painted on the wall and the way Jimin stands in front of it before the water comes in, exactly mimics the shot of him in front of the forest in this short film. The spiritual symbolism of the forest is representative of femininity and the mother. Knowing this, everything will make more sense going forward.

THIS IS NOT A SPOILER Ok so I was presently surprised when you said that when he pointed the camera to the painting meant freedom. So yes basically it does represent freedom but more in the wanting freedom sense thats why he was isolated in the whole short film (the mechanic hand doing the tests and the camera recording it.) I wont say who the second bed is for but you were right about him being in the hospital. Also think of the apple as the apple from Adam and Eve and what happend when they ate it. You are doing very well with understanding some of the symbolism so I think you might get the gist of what's happening. Last but not the least keep an eye on the circles in the wings logo at the end of every shortfilm its significant of something.

Here's some info that everyone seems to have forgotten about the storyline. Their music video "For You" japanese version is the very first time we see the storyline start. We see Jungkook be seperated from them and RM working at the gas station with Jin for the first time.😉 just letting you know in case you want to see it, it's a very minor part of the story so it isn't completely necessary. It's an adorable video though if you do want to watch it on your own time😁.

Actually some parts of this story line are related to the book Demian by Herman Hesse, and all the members are personalities that live inside Jin, that's why sometimes he doesn't appear in the polaroids (that's just one of the theories). But at the same time it has a story about them being friends and being appart for a couple of years and in that period of time all their lives are upside down, and then Jin tries to reunate all them together, if you read the manga you are going to understand it much better Sorry for my bad english!
