Something I didn't mention in the video. I am leaning toward thinking I have the same genetic mutation (MTHFR C677T) as my mom, because it's possible that taking her pinpointed supplementation helped greatly with my symptoms. Furthermore, it's known that the mutation increases the affect of caffeine because of the bodies lack of ability to break it down as efficiently. In my early 20's I developed a severe sensitivity to all stimulants, so this is in line with the genetic condition. The good news is, my mom has an extensive education in dealing with this, as she has been seeing a specialist the last few years (with great improvement) . So it that's the case I'll have a great head start in steering my habits in the right direction. I may do a separate video on this topic as this is a fairly common issues that others may deal with and not be aware. I also think my gut has improved a little. I'm taking a potent probiotic to help with that, and with the surging gone I feel like eating again too. :)

JD, I think you’re on to something. I have the MTHFR gene mutation. At one point I was very ill as I was taking regular B complex supplements and my body eventually became very toxic. After my diagnosis, I was put on specific supplements of B12 and methyl folate. It took a while to detox from those B complex supplements, but after that, and taking my new supplements, life was better. I’m thanking God that you are better in health. Godspeed to you JD.😊 I’m happy for you. PS , I passed it on to one of my children, the others are not tested, but have been made aware of MTHFR.

❤I don't drink coffee or alcohol and dint smoke MY mother smoked till she was 82 I haven't seen a doc in 30 years and neither has my husband no tests no x rays. We don't drink water out of plastic and don't consume G M Os or bioengineered products We try to use as much organic as we can. We pick Ramshead mushrooms dry them and use them along with Wild Leeks and Turkey Tail fungus. We incorporate these in many of our foods along with fresh ginger and TUMERIC and peppercorns. We are 72 plus. We have had the virus and sailed thru it and take no jabs this is just us but our 5 grown kids do the same also I have taken Ivermectin when I have symptoms of illnesses. Again I'm only sharing what we do. We also consume Salt from Utah and I make Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother I've been drinking a clove tea at bedtime can be found on Dr Berg site. Your in my thots and prayers. MICRO PLASTICS ARE being found in our systems stay away from plastic. Don't heat in it or buy water in it. Filter your water we use a Berkey. Cook with Stainless steel

Jon, dear friend, one thing you didn’t consider that could be pertinent is a TIA. In layman’s terms a mini stroke. Far more common than most know. I’ve had them and your symptoms mimic the event of one. There’s no real test to confirm but I had an MRI and had too much gray matter in my brain…indicative of a mini stroke damage. Sometimes I’d slur my words sometimes not but the brain fog and confusion was alway there. One time it was so bad I could see perfectly fine but everything I looked at seemed off somehow. Hard to explain. Just thought I’d throw this in tho right now your physical health is good. But the brain is a horse of another color.

Dear, Jon, please don't delete any of your recent health-issue videos as they are so valuable to the rest of us looking for answers to their own, perhaps related, health problems. I am so glad that you are feeling better. I am impressed at your diligence in keeping on top of things with the testing you are doing. May I ask, what are using for your tests? Are these blood tests prescribed by your doctor, or are you doing this on your own? Thanks, Jon, may God continue to bless you and your life's path. A very happy 2025 to you and your family.

Hey Dianne. I'm just paying for independent tests at Quest Diagnostics through a company called Jason Health. The bloodwork is incredibly low priced compared to other independent testing sites I have used previously. It's incredibly fast and simple too. I've been very pleased.

Contact lenses should help with the double vision and depth perception. My right eye takes a -5.5 correction and my left is -3.5. When I don't have my contact lenses in I can see up close (great for reading in bed) but I only use my right eye most of the time because I usually get a slight vertical doubling and rotation between left and right. But with my contact lenses in that all goes away. They aren't special, just plain ones. But since I'm in my 50's I need reading glasses with my contact lenses. If you don't want to literally poke yourself in the eyes every day, consider LASIK. Don't go for the doing one eye for close and one for far vision.

I’m not a doctor but with the brain fog and positional vertigo, agitation, etc you were talking about it sounds like symptoms of Menieres’s disease. Idk, it just seems like if your bloodwork is normal, the brain fog and vertigo sound inner ear related. You get “attacks” that are on and off which sounds related to your story. This disease can also be directly linked to increased agitation and neuromuscular issues (fist clinching) due to the inner ear imbalance. Again, not a doctor, it just sound very similar to the signs and symptoms of Menieres.

Hey JD, im a medical student and I tbink you should see a neurologist. your condition sounds alot like multiple sclerosis to me, see my comment on your other video for why. also MS can have a relapsing and remitting pattern, meaning it will go away and come back. Glad youre feeling better tho man.

Hey. I appreciate your comments. If the extreme symptoms come back I'll definitely be getting evaluated, especially if MTHFR is ruled out since my mom has it (I'm working on that). I've realized minor issues I've had over the years can be attributed to it. One being my body seems to have a problem breaking many things down (like stimulants) . For now my routines, diet and supplementation seem to be working. If anything changes for the better or worse I'll definitely let everyone know what happens.

I used to have PTSD. Been gone since 2013 when I healed. I'm an extremely calm individual and know the difference between anxiety and being unwell. This recent challenge did bring up some anxiety, but I was able to manage it well to help keep the problem from getting worse. So I'm thankful for my past experiences with PTSD. My body has extreme sensitivities, which is why I'm going to be tested for MTHFR (see pinned comment)

@@JDsVarietyChannel I also call it paralysis of analysis. the doctors have done a plethora of tests, all of which are normal. you overthink things. I see it in my professional practice frequently. @JDsVarietyChannel
@JDsVarietyChannel 27 күн бұрын
Your good. I know you're not trolling. And I certainly know what analysis paralysis is, as my personality leans that way (I think that's obvious) . I've come a long way in just knowing when to take a deep breath and not worry about everything spinning around in my head. What you're describing was me 12 years ago, as I let my health issues at the time lead to depression and panic attacks for a season. During my recent problems, I was actually able to chill most of the time, which made it possible for me to avoid any actions based in fear or panic. I only did tests that needed done anyway for general health concerns, so no harm done either way. I've only spent like $100 thus far. Yeah, MTHFR has no cure, but it's very manageable with the right supplements, diet and lifestyle. Probably the last test I'll do for now, as I want to know anyway as I get older if I have it.
