I'm growing my duck back to adult, questing in Green Valley and have a fight with an adult sarco. It didn't end well.

The really sad part is that the hatz and the sarco are probably the same player. I use this technique myself by logging my hatz out in the ocean so when I die I can fly to where I died in just a minute or two! I recommend playing with friends. If I were you I would’ve waited for a lamb to heal me before walking to home cave. I also recommend Alderon wise up and specifically for hatz only there’s gotta be a cool down when you die no matter where you are. Revenge hatz is BS and it needs to stop ✋

You know what - I don't know what to do about this. There will always be a certain number of people who are sore losers and will find a way to "get their own back" no matter what is implemented. If not them, then a friend will. When I die to a good player 1v1 , I make a point of saying how good they are on their dino, and sometime end up friending them! I've learned better fighting techniques from the person that killed me, tricks and even can practice against them, and it's been overall better for me. I'm going to be more aware of this in the future and perhaps not fight for trophies in GV as there's no easy way to get to a Homecave as a duck.

Especially as a semi aquatic you couldve gotten some stam/oxygen back and then hide underwater for a mins just to wait until the other player gives up (just to make sure and play it safe). You might say he could've logged into another semi, true, but hatz is every griefer's first choice.

I mean, if there were rules on the server I totally would understand, but if it's officials or a pvp server then this will always happen, just a player finding an extra food source/trophy kill (awesome job fighting the sarco tho)

Ah yes, no rules is why I play officials. But I can still be salty about dying cheaply like that. Especially after beating that sarc.

I'm guessing it was a partner, trouble is the partner will switch from hatz to e.g spino and kill me. It's happened to me many times before in that spot

I'm guessing a partner. I didn't do what was in their plan. I was supposed to lose to the sarc, or escape from it onto land, where the hatz would finish me off. Common tactic

i love my duck he been adult for long time many battles no one likes ducks we dont fit in anywhere i think there scared of us lol i duno why im always friendly until attacked we have no reason to kill things apart from fish lol or red berry bushes lol always good to get the win when they attack first when we was a ado duck a ado spino tried killing me he got beat up and ran for the river i let him go but he got taught a lesson lol

I get attacked and attack, usually Sarcos, and the odd sucho and spino. But a lot of Sarcos are quite aggressive I find.

This why i never go to hc on death scars esp as apex :( totally get not wanting to stay and heal in that water though as switchers 100% exist

And the solution would be so easy. Just lock flyers for the player of which the dino died, no matter where the flyer is at this moment , that's it.
