That telephone appointment sounded like such a nightmare. I have so little patience for ignorance in the mental health field. Having what you say misinterpreted is definitely shit for anyone but as someone with OCD as well that IS really triggering to have someone do that with the intrusive thoughts you've been vulnerable enough to share with them. I hope the rest of your experiences are not like that and your first CBT appointment goes well. I've been diagnosed for a while now but was maybe in denial for some time until I talked to a friend who also has it. I've not had any treatment for it, but mental health care is just very limited where I'm at. Exposure therapy for OCD has always seemed traumatic to me, but I have not heard of ERP(?) before. Also just wanted to say I've never commented before but your videos have been really nice and helpful to see as a fellow nonbinary person with chronic pain/illness. ❤

Welcome back max,I forgot your name for a minute! 🤣I am sorry to hear about your OCD,I did not realise there were so many forms of it! I have a form of OCD & PTSD when I was raped at the age of 13 from that day I could not use an open public loo,I had to hide in a cubicle & if I heard anyone I could not wee even if I was busting! All my hospital appointments if I had to take my clothes off I would insist the door was locked,same at the doctor's,and since having an indwelling catheter & having it changed every 12 weeks the door has to be locked! And now my hearing has all but gone & my sight getting slowly worse I find it even harder! I have had therapy but it's always going to be there so I get what your going through,I always have! I had one little smile when you said about your hearing aids at the appointment! I am glad you can get by without them in,and why you not got them in while at home! I miss the tell tale tubing! As long as you don't give up on your hearing aids as they must help a bit,I hope your sight no worse & you don't have to use a long cane much! I now have to use my red/white long cane when out at night & with little or no hearing it's scary! I hope you got my Kofi purchases,also Amazon would not let me get the chop sticks hence why they still on the list,I hope work & home life going ok,you looked like you have bulked up a bit you look really hot & I love the hair! Will buy u a Kofi shortly take care 💖💖💖💖

Thank you for sharing this, it's very helpful. My obsessions and compulsions are so mild that I struggle with understanding someone I care about who has stronger OCD like traits.

Wow, I have the same thing, it's all centred around vomiting, I wondered if it was a phoiba vs OCD. This is the first time I've heard of soembody else experiencing this, thanks for sharing!

Is "Grocery Store".an American word?.. I suppose it's gone out of fashion since we in the 60's (England) ONLY had Grocery Shops (not "Stores") before supermarkets came to be😂; what does my brain in is hearing Yanks saying "Drugstore" ha-ha
