Hey don't despair, used to work with a guy years ago who had a similar type operation. At first when he returned to work the adjustment to his jaw was remarkable but perhaps the biggest change was his personality. A lot happier within himself and more outgoing although in your case that outgoingness would be hard to improve on.Best of luck.

Hey Danny I hope your physical and mental health are giving you abit more breathing space to enjoy your South Island trek. It actually sounds like you need a companion to share your travels and fun with! As for your surgery? You’ve got this! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Strength over fear! You will get through these hurdles and be so much happier after these medical issues being corrected and healed. But don’t push it and do the the professionals tell you to do so you can put it behind you. Then you can go for your goals and be successful at it. Thanks for being honest! I’m sure that made you feel better starting out the new purpose in your life.

the good thing is you are enough self aware that you can work through any issues you have and can self reflect and make good choices for yourself which most people can't do so well done

Great video, thank you! I had (probably have) plans to move to NZ (from Europe), however I am 52 and I am really hesitant making this move (I also understand that chances are getting slimmer as time goes by, so does the "ease" of moving). I'm not sure that I could find a decent job (currently I am a university assistant professor). You also had a great point that it takes a lot of time (talking years) to get cozy. Yet on the other hand I think I really need to start a new life and leave all the "bad" behind. It would be really great to hear your take on this. Btu agai, thanks for the great video(s)! :)

You never know until you try? Sounds like you don't have much to lose? I feel that by the way... leaving the bad behind. I've studied trauma recovery for years after having quite the abusive childhood, and having new experiences is one of the best ways to heal. I took this advice to heart recently and finally made the move out of Auckland. Best choice ever! I hope this helps a bit! 💜💜💜

I feel this. Chronic illness diagnosis several years ago put a huge dent in the plans I had for my life. Still not sure how to go about it all and get where I want to be. It's a struggle.

@@TheAudaciousPath Marokopa falls, Waitomo caves, Piripiri caves(open to public), Marokopa river, Marokopa camp site 👌🏾. Marokopa bush walk all native. Kiritehere beach (Dinosaur fossils if your lucky)

@@TheAudaciousPath Allow 2 days to explore everything. The prices for Waitomo gloveworm caves has doubled in the last 8 years 😡. Though its once in a lifetime. Carry on to Marokopa village along the way is a natural bridge walk, Marokopa falls, and Piripiri caves which are free. Trust you'd do your research. Google Marokopa Holiday park and you're good to go 😉
