Coming back again to this song and I’ve learned it all on guitar. Now singing as good as him is another thing lol. But you’re right about the polyrhythmic style between the vocals and guitar is next level tough. I love your description of what was going on bc you’re right on point

Ren doing Ren things 😅 I don’t know the original songs, but I am here for anything Ren does and this was beautiful. The artistry to take EDM tracks and make a mashup so emotional is incredible. Ren has music in his soul and pours so much soul into music and every performance 🖤🐰🕳️

Excellent reaction! Ren gave music back to me. I had literally given up on music. I raised myself on Bowie and the Smiths. I loved Buckley when he was still alive. I just really couldn’t stomach the crap of today’s artists; and then Ren showed up. I subbed. I’m excited to accompany you on your journey down the rabbit hole. 😉❤️‍🔥✌️

Makes us all cry ! Ren is a stellar performer! He is so talented, and creative. He is all about emotion. He said that, when he heard Fred Again doing the”I’ve been lost” in concert, he cried. It spoke to him personally.

Great reaction thanks. What I'm finding difficult is the fact that every single song Ren creates does something too me emotionally like no other Artist has done, am I fan Girling? I'm 55 and slid in and out of the UK music industry and I've not come across anybody like Ren it's baffling to me. Nobody should hit the bar 💯 of the time, but Ren does just that!❤from D in the UK 🇬🇧

That "everybody" part.. similar to his breaking in For Joe, just kills me 😔 this was a very strong start to 2024 for Ren~ considering how different the original songs sound, I didn't expect this to be among my favourite Ren songs.. also how great to see his singing has improved since his recording of how to be me and chalk outlines.

Just discovered you! Been following Ren for a year now and following the reactor community as well. Looking at your Ren list, where you started and the path you have taken. Yes this is a mash up of 4 tracks by the edm /rave master C Fred Again but he uses the track Jungle the longest. It's a masterful mash up fueled with emotion by Ren. Thanks for the reaction.🎉

Unfortunately it won't be on any mediums as Ren didn't get permission from the original artist, Fred Again, as Ren did this performance just to honour him as he loves his music so much. Ren is not monetising the video either. Great reaction ❤

I finally made a Ren premiere and I was so hyped…and then Ren did that Ren thing and suddenly I’m sobbing. He ALWAYS puts a piece of himself into his music- even when it’s a mashup of other artists …it becomes fully Ren.❤

It’s not on Spotify etc as it’s a retake/mashup/tribute. You would have to download on YT music or convert to MP3. This song breaks me every time. Unlike Ren, I'm not a fan of EDM, Fred Again, or these 5 songs individually. But I love this mashup. Ren has excerpted lyrics from these 5 and woven them together with an acoustic melody, his rhythmic choices, and his uniquely percussive vocals, to tell an intensely personal story.

I don’t know if you read what Ren wrote when he released this song( it’s in the comments). Basically he and his friends were in LA and saw Fredagain and when the song Angie( I’ve been lost) came on Ren said that he just broke down and was sobbing in the middle of it all. Again, his vulnerability allows us to be vulnerable as well.

So, i like ren. But i LOVE Fred Again. Like, i listened to nothing but him for over a month. His boiler room set is my workout playlist. I'm autistic, and i am very bad at processing emotions. And the main way im able to just dwell in emotion and process what I'm feeling is music. And sometimes I listen to specific songs if i want to feel a particular emotion. Fred Again made me feel in ways i didn't even think were possible. And Ren just fucking broke me, man.

I said in a comment about 50 reactions ago that I didnt expect to like Fred Again's original as i dont generally enjoy EDM. i take it back. I watched a couple of Fred Again videos and will be actively searchjng for more. I may not like ALL i hear, but what ive heard so far actually moved me.
