I Have This Old Gun - Browning 1917A1 Machine Gun

The M-1917A1 Machine gun was used on the infiltration course at Camp Geiger North Carolina in 1965. We crawled 100 yards both in the day and at night under the fire of this water cooled machine gun. The M-60 Machine gun could not keep up a high rate of fire because it was air cooled. Former U.S. Marine Grunt, 0311.
