I loved the narrative. It's been way too long since I camped with other people. Come out to Nova Scotia some day, we've got great trails and fishing and tons of ocean beaches with no one around! You can even park and camp right on the beaches here if you know where to go.

I’ve wondered if you are autistic. Some very tell tale signs. As someone who was late diagnosed, it is a bumpy path but the other side is a much fuller, self aware existence. Don’t fear it. You may find your pole will cast better if you fill the spool. Once the volume of fishing line drops to about the halfway mark on your spool some reels can get persnickety and tangle up more often.

It's good to get out and do some casting while it's fresh in your memory. Really casting is the only part that is easier to learn from others, Google knows all the knots, the hooking and landing you can work out in your own time. This was a fun video and outside your comfort zone a little bit. thanks for the share

Yes.... talk to myself a lot out there as I do travel solo. And I find when I talk with others, I don't always complete my sentences, and loose my train of thought. My granddaughter has autism. Quite well functioning though. Brilliant and beautiful.... and crazy creative. Lately I've questioned myself. Just love your spirit. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤

...LOL! Just started the video. Always air-down when not on pavement - even if not all the way down to rock-crawling pressures.....so much more comfortable. Back into a LandCruiser....appreciating the Zen of flyfishing.... Nice. I've been fishing remote mountain lakes for most of my life. Have a modified Jeep to allow me to get away by myself, or with one or two other people, to find rainbow trout that few others can access. That rod of yours looks to be a surf-casting length! So much more satisfying to get yourself something light weight for the fish that you're most likely to be targeting.....but you do you!

My last three outings have been solo, one being glamping because my navigator is working full time as a grandmother. I must admit it is a whole different feeling as I don't have to hold back any feelings or expressions (ex-military).
