This is me, I awoke from a coma at age 20, a quadriplegic. Doctors said I'd never move again. I don't know how, but during my paralysis time, I envisioned myself living my best life. I started moving 15 days later, took my first steps again a month later, recovered enough to return to University a year later. The doctor said I should return in 5. I stayed and graduated in 4. I healed my physical and mental self my believing in myself. I took no medication or prescription drugs. I just ate normal foods. Believe in yourself.

You sound like my ex boyfriend. He was badly burned in a chemical fire at work. 80% full thickness burns on the lower half of his body. He has only one main artery that runs down his right leg and a half an inch of calf muscle on both of his legs. He had to have skin grafts and even cadaver skin to fix the damage. When he woke up out of a two week medically induced coma, he was told by the doctors he had an 85% chance of never walking again. The first thing he said to the doctor was "Doc, fuck you. I'm walking out of this god damned hospital even if it takes me using a cane to do it." Rehab and the procedures were unbelievably painful. 8 months later he walked out of the burn unit, he refused a wheelchair and walked out on his own power with a cane, bandages still wrapped on his legs.

5 years ago, I was homeless in the streets of Baltimore with no forms of identity left to me, strung out on drugs before I was locked up and put through a 5 year court plea sentence. Today I have all my forms of ID back. I am not tied to the court any longer. I have a place to live, a vehicle, just starting a career I've wanted to do for several years, and I'm just working on my recovery and taking life as it comes to me with God's help/guidance. I believe God wakes me up everyday and gives me motivation to say "F.you." to anything that keeps me from trying to be better than I was yesterday. He might want me to use different words though. I have to stay in honey badger mode though. I don't know where the road is going but there is joy in building inner strength I think, building resilience. It's not inspiring to everybody. I guess it doesn't have to be. Our lives are a big deal. I believe that. Thanks for the videos.

It's hard to even write this comment, I've been with a Narcisist for 10 years. I just found out last year what that is. I would not wish this type of person on my worse enemy. It's only God ,why I'm still standing, hurt but still standing. She's the mother of my only son who's 7 and I've raised her daughter sense 3 who's now 14, I let go of a good paying job to stay home and take care of my kids while she was in the hospital for what we thought was a brain anirism. She is ungrateful for everything. She has made me forget who I am, I'm currently reaching out to emergency low income housing to avoid sleeping in my car, because I can't do this anymore, I wanted to raise my son with two parents in the home but I see this can't be. Now I'm about to dissappear from this situation just to get back to me. I am back in school and in the gym 6 days a week sometimes twice a day. I'm determined to win now at all cost and break this toxic cycle, keep gringing yall, your in my prayers❤🙏🏿🙌🏿🙏🏿

And I did it god I hope I could brag about this but I kept it close to my chest and kept that my power from him with him to bear it all and even when I was in fighting for my life and a friend and my wife at the time stabbed me in that back and sleeper with each other wiles I was in chemo and found them when the taxi dropped me back off at my home . I live my life with certain standard that I will live by and I will die by. One of them is to never wish to be someone else. I will always want to be myself, I will always want to be me, my issues is i don’t look to be someone but I don’t like to feel like everything I’m going through and have been through and all this work and pain I’ve put into my life is just ignored or isn’t seen. I’ve been teaching myself lately that as long as I notice myself then that’s all that matters because a the end of the day the person we need most is ourselves.
