What’s your process on curing eggs?

@@TheHappySmileyFace12 paper towel in a container, lay eggs on them skin side down with berries facing up(cut down middle to open egg skein up, add Egg cure(lots of brands) salt or sugar, or both(experiment with variety/salmon likes different some days) and add krill powder or krill scent. Leave out in room temperature for 48 hours. After, you can store away and freeze or use the next day and have in the fridge until next day to fish them. In addition , I add more sugar/salt the night before I go fishing. I like my egg cure like my doughnuts, extra sugary and sweet lol

@@TheSimplePianist Beau Macs Pro Glo fluorescent red, krill powder, sugar or salt depending how high or how low in the river system I’m fishing.down river low I fish sweeter eggs, up higher I fish saltier eggs

I went to the last resort and bought store bought eggs when I ran out of fresh eggs, cured them some more, and got lucky with a 15 pound king salmon hen full of eggs! ended up with more eggs. but catching some hens on a spinner is a start #4 chartreuse chrome blade always gets me started.

@@PNWFishingAdventures yes, bring a machete, I made some of my honey holes myself. People forget the river is big and the fish are everywhere. Just find a spot and fish it, it’s not the spot that matters it’s the “egg cure”! I’ve fished with a dozen people before and went to the far right cause too many people, pulled a 15 pound king hen when no one else got a bite and hour before I pulled up.
