I have to admit, I liked this video far more than I thought I would. What beautiful landscapes! Feeding the camels was adorable.

Thank you George, it’s certainly an underrated country. Those camels were owned by our Bedouin host, he drove into the desert to find them for us. It was really great

Wow, I love Jordan! 💖We flew from JFK to Amman on a 747 of Jordan's National Airlines,✈ We didn't know at the time the Queen of Jordan ( Who was an American at that time ) 👸was flying up stairs in the first class compartment of the 747 until we landed in Amman. Thanks for the great memories of our time in Jordan. Love this amazing video of Jordan great camera work, great colors, great pictures of Petra. Cheers 🍷🍷🤠

This video was fantastic to watch. Every second awesome. We do not realize how much Jordan has to offer, a wonderful way to get back to ancient times and feel the history that took place, especially at Petra, the carvings. We can tell by the way you look that you were amazed being there, same as we feel here and thanks to you! P.S.: Please next time, take me with you...:) I can hold a camera...:) Thanks for sharing.

Alice, you give great info as always. But at this point, I would have real trouble contributing tourist dollars to a country whose population celebrated so appallingly when Hamas murdered and kidnapped hundreds of innocent people Oct 7.
@AliceFordAdventures Жыл бұрын
Well I’m not going to get into politics but there was no celebrating when I was there. And the war happened 2 days after I arrived. Jordan does not support Hamas they do believe Palestinians should live freely though. They are also the only country in the region without their own oil so tourism is their main generator of income, making it a very welcoming place to foreigners.
@penultimateh766 Жыл бұрын
@@AliceFordAdventures I'm glad you were spared sight of the many bloodthirsty demonstrations which were / are easy to find on media. I would posit that kidnapping, rape and homicide are more than politics. Gaza was 100% free and unoccupied at the time of the crimes. Hamas trained and rehearsed for months in plain sight of thousands of Palestinians who stayed stone silent about it.

@@AliceFordAdventuresit must have been unnerving being that close when it all went down
@AliceFordAdventures Жыл бұрын
@@ExpeditionAustralia yes it was, many tourists were certainly on edge, luckily Jordan is like Switzerland when it comes to middle eastern conflicts and because the region has so many decades of conflicts the locals in these countries have a totally different sense of danger than westerners
