@@OCRacingi might be a bit late on this commment but i raccomend staying in the correct gear in each corner even if your corner speed is off. this will show you where you need to roll more speed. if you feel like your getting a horrible exit from a corner but you are in the corect gear than it means there is more speed to find in that corner. also i recommend going into a public session and whatching the fastest person and copying their lines and braking points.

Nice podium! Would recommend increasing your virtual mirror's FOV. By doing this you can see further along side you and is easier to tell when you are clear of the car behind and stops you having to solely rely on the spotter.

So the reason you got the slowdown penalty was because the right side tires cut through the grass. It's just one of those things you have to know because track limits change per track for the most part. That particular corner lets you use all the curb but nothing more

That was some insane amount of luck lol I don’t think the training made you faster but it definitely helped you stay consistent which is far more important, the speed will come naturally. I’m not even that fast but I’ve won a few races and got over a dozen podiums already, got up to a b class license in like 2 weeks all by staying consistent and clean.

You can fix your bezel-free kit discontinuity - It's possible it's just the difference in height between your camera and your eyes which is making it appear that there is a discontinuity on the right hand bezel, but if it is visible to your eye when you are in your seat, and you are not using nvidia surround, you can tweak the angle between the screens in the graphics settings in iracing and eliminate that vertical offset I could see in the video. You can tweak the bezel width (use negative numbers, if necessary) to eliminate any horizontal offset. Conveniently, it is a setting that updates the display in real time so you can just pause the replay from cockpit view in a spot where you can easily see the discontinuity and then open the graphics settings and tweak those values so that the bezel free kit will exactly eliminate the bezel without causing any additional discontinuity in the display. Of course, make sure the measurement for distance and screen width is also accurate.

There are actually two racing lines. The "racing line", and the fastest line. When coming onto a big straight its best to go a little wide so you can gain time on the straight. You do lose time in the entry but will gain more on the exit and straight because of the higher top speed and tow of the car in front. The racing line is not always the fastest way to get around a track.

Well, you've gotten yourself a motion sim rig and a quad monitor setup, and although you have never mentioned for how many years you are simracing, it appears thst it has reached the point where you have decided that your basic skills need an improvement. I think that sim racing makes you much more faster (and cheaper) realise "just what the fuck am I exactly doing here?" and elevate it to basilion thoughts per second if you train right.

I don't know how to get irating with out losing safety rating. It seems like at my level 1800 to 2k irating and my safety is 2.40 ATM. It was 4.20 before Atlanta. 80% of all my incidents is other people's mistakes, 10%. My mistakes and 10% my mistakes.with track limits type of issues.
