I love that you recognize people who are hard workers and good too and you treat them as valuable. I grew up in a family business in a small town, we had a restaurant with a gas station attached to it and a variety store. I started working when I was in grade 5, I was 11yrs old. I can make jokes now and say it was child slave labour. I worked my ass off more than our employees because I did not have any days off, especially during summers when not in school. Anyways, I remember one day a friend of my mom's called her for some advice. Her friend owned a store too and she wanted my mom's advice on one of her employees. This employee was asking for a 25 cents raise and she did not know what to do. She didn't know if she should give her that raise. My mom basically said to her, "Is she a hard worker?" If she is, give it to her or else she will leave and you will have to find someone else. So Koodoos to you Bethanny.

Fabulous Frankel - I work my buns off for my employer. I also have my own business. And I'm lucky enough to be truly appreciated. And I love to give the hand up because of the generosity of my employer. To see someone care about people as you do is so awesome it reminds me of my bosses and it also reminds me of how I operate as a manager. With some of my clients when they ask me how much I want to be paid I'll ignore the question and inevitably they'll give me a $100 more than what I was going to ask for and I don't come cheap. But I love my platinum service. I take pride in my work. In the world we have so little control of anything...but we can control our work ethic.
