I found in the settings they have an auto flip through card option so you don't have to hold your mouse to open packs

Just so you know, the worker takes longer to check out people if you don't round your prices. His speed is based on number of actions he does, so each item he scans and each coin/bill of change given is an action. If you don't round, he has to give out more change which takes longer. It is best to round to the nearest dollar or quarter.

Card boxes are just the basic packs inside. So if you low on money always prioritise boxes, because you can open a few and sell them as loose packs.

Z, you had mentioned in a previous video about how your hand hurt from opening packs .... there is an option in the settings to Auto Open/pull cards. You just click to open the pack and it moves itself through the cards. It will auto stop at cards over $10 but you can also check to stop at every new card too, but it will stop at new cards even if they are basically worthless. Just a thought.

Yeah also when you check end on day report selling above market value, will reduce amount of customers. That extra you get from sales is not worth value you get from more customers

With the workbench you can bundle up all your cheap cards into a 100 card random box you can sell for $11, instead of selling them individually on the table

This is useful but later game, cost to unlock I think was 1000 and only bundle cards less than 1.00. Takes long time to break even though. If selling 20.00 a box you would need 50 boxes sold just to cover licence, that's not including cards value you putting in box.

Not sure anyone else has mentioned it, but for the credit card machine, you can use the number pad, I have found it a lot faster than clicking

Z, your employee works at a slow speed and too much change slows him down because he can only do like 2 clicks a second or something close to that SO IT'LL BE BEST TO ROUND ALL THE PRICES TO MAKE HIM BE ABLE TO CHECKOUT FASTER. Edit: 20% is too much, you won't make sales. Think of market price as the price that most other tcg shops are selling for so they just won't buy it from your shop. The best would be 10% rounded for sales to be higher. Also 10% increase on higher priced cards are not gonna sell easily because 10% of a thousand is like a 100 dollars extra... Better to round that at 5% and best to sell at rounded market price for quicker sales, there's no loss.

A few things that I have found from playing. When you have a worker checking customers out, the time it takes for each customer is dependent on how many items they purchase, and how much change is needed. So if a customer has 10 items its gonna take longer than a customer with 5 items. Also if someone gets $3.50 back in change its gonna take less than someone who gets $3.59. Also the market price I believe is 100% RNG, in my game the basic pack is $2.76 and i sell for $3, in my prologue play through I was able to sell for $4

Having price set to high, will reduce amount of customers that enter shop. So soon as you see someone say it's too pricey need to reduce the cost.

I hired that worker and fired that worker in the same day. he kept leaving boxes of stock on the floor in front of shelves and can ring up 1 customer in the time I can ring up 3. I told him i'd just do it all myself and showed him the door

one thing i would like to have in this game (i have not played the full release so i dont know if we can already or not) is the ability to display our own sets. i think i saw a display case that is used to display not sell a few cards, but i mean like have a wall hanger of all 12 variants of each card, or one large complete set wall hanger with all 106. because obviously when dealing with this sort of thing we have to collect every card, its in our nature as OG millennial pokemon card collectors. lol i dont just want to fill that in game card book, i want to combine them and make set/variant displays. also i hope there is a way/will be a way in the future to mass sell cards. while playing the prologue i accrued several hundred cheap nickle cards and would like to mass/quick sell to clear them out.

I saw an earlier comment say you can make a card box on the work bench that combines 100 of your selected cards into a box to sell for 11 buck or something like that. Probably their way of meeting the need to mass sell cheaper cards.

@@pnumthrx thats exactly what i was thinking about. obviously it has no bearing on my prologue demo playthrough, so far ive went about 40 something days deep in game and have close to if not well over 1000 low value duplicates so knowing that once i get the full game and wind up being in a similar situation that will be an option.
