Loading a truck for delivery should be optional and give you more reputaion/cash, so in beginning it would give you a boost for hardwork but later you can just skip it

I found it better to do all the collection jobs early in the day, then do processing in the afternoon and selling in the evening. Because unless it gets patched out you can still accept and/or complete delivery contracts even at the end of day.

z, some things that can help - don't waste time moving during the day (09 - 17), use this time to collect materials - when you go to collect materials, you can unload them all at once, you just have to put things in the back of the truck, this way you save some time to collect more materials. (it may seem like it will be the same, but if you waste the time it takes for the 2 workers to unload and use that time to collect more materials, then when you finish all the available areas that day, you have the rest of the day to do things) - after 5pm you can no longer go out to collect materials, so after 5pm, you process the scrap, produce the materials, sell them, you have the whole night to do that, because the clock stops at 9pm but you can continue working - one thing I didn't like, is not having a contract for selling paper rolls - for each collection place you can reduce the price by +/- $30 to $40, (they usually accept $30 straight away) I'm waiting for the game to come out and I hope it's not too expensive
