i cant see why you would ever go blue over red kayle, like sure blue is slightly more ap but surely the amount of extra attacks from attack speed would result in her doing more damage overall

supposedly under the right circumstances, red Kayle is good a prolonged fight, such as if you have a ramping AS team with strong frontline, while blue Kayle is better for a burst heavy comp when you need to melt the enemy frontline down. So they both are powerful but in their own way. Sometimes red Kayle can't ramp up enough damage to be as strong as blue if frontline can't survive (or in this case, before the Double Guinsoo Trickshot Bard meta destroys your backline or 6 Ghost Meta melts your frontline). Blue is strong off the bat, which is good in the current ramping AS/Ghost meta.

You can put sivir in front of kayle in this situation, because she gives the AS to adjacent allies, not left and right
