That first find is amazing! We found one just like that here in New Hampshire USA, should be noted that is a Tudor Rose engraved on it. Awesome job on the Hammered silvers, love the cut coins too! Another great episode, keep up the AWESOME work!

Where else would you rather be indeed haha!! Really enjoyed this one mate, the extra effort you are putting in really shows, and makes it much more watchable (in my opinion). Also, it becomes fun putting that effort in, and seeing what you can capture, and what you can create - it becomes an entirely new hobby & passion. This is what it is like for me and has been for a couple of years, my sole aim when I go metal detecting is NOT to find amazing things, but to capture and create a nice KZbin video. That first hammered was a stunner, shame about the crack like but I'd be over the moon with it. Back to back hammered, niiiiice!! I keep sayin it, but sooner or later you are gonna stumble across ancient gold on that permission. There is Celtic gold there 100000%

Thanks for the kind comments mate, it means a lot, i really appreciate that you’ve noticed the effort I’ve put in. I do enjoy creating short films.. I really hope you are right about the Celtic gold! Thanks for watching pal. 👍🏼

Your welcome I’ve recently started detecting so I’m scanning you tube for help I haven’t found anything of real monetary value but I’ve got some Roman horse shoes C and other stuff and I’m absolutely enthralled with the whole uncovering history just inches below our feet Thanks again I came across one of your videos and I liked it and because you took the trouble to number the episodes I’ve gone back to when you started it

Was there a half cut coin behind the musket ball?
@suffolksearcher19 күн бұрын
Not a cut half, just a stone, I always sweep back over the area to make sure that I haven’t missed anything.

Is the mystery find a handle off a drawer front of a piece of furniture or something like that?

You always say a “lovely 25” or whatever but it seems to have no correlation to what you find. Why don’t you keep notes then you can actually report something.
@suffolksearcher19 күн бұрын
I don’t understand what you mean by no correlation to what I find?
