Yeah, martial arts or whichever activity you put tons of effort into and eventually succeed may both give you confidence ("I actually can achieve a lot of I want!") yet also repress some deeper unconfidence which it is easier not to think of in the light of widely accepted success. A thin line 😁

good job homie, had a quick question what mma gyms do u recommend in los angeles or surrounding areas. I trained in stand up most of my youth mainly muay thai and boxing; havnt trained in a while.I need help with my defence and have NO ground game, would like to go to a gym where they train in all disciplines judo, jiu jitsu, and learn some new stand up techniques. any recomendations?

Maybe somewhere in the future. To answer your question, generally not committing two hands to a technique while on bottom. Combat is all about being on top.
