I installed Motogadget bar end mirrors on my BMW M1000R Competition!!!

I this video, I ‪@d.magnus425‬ installed Motogadget bar end mirrors on my BMW M1000R. I also, remove the front reflectors off of the front fender and install an instrument cluster protector.

Hey Mate, how did you manage to fit them 22mm motogadget barend mirrors on the weighted coupler?

Hopefully I can explain this properly but I put the end piece on the end of the motogadget mirror and then bar end weight. Then I screwed everything in.

It is bad when you first get the bike or if you do not change the stock mirrors. Lowering the tire pressure and putting some better bar end weights helped out significantly. The shakes are not totally gone but are a lot better than when I first rode the bike.

Thanks for the video. Looking for replacing my eom mirrors on my new m1000r Did you fix the right mirror which looks vibrating much more the left one? In addition what is your final statement after a couple of months Many thx

No I ended up just taking the right mirror off all together because it was still shaking and I could not see behind me on the right side. Overall, I like the mirrors but I changed my set up by installing bar end weights and stealth mirrors. I am pleasantly surprised that the mirrors do not shake.

@@ludovicbourg9361 Yes, the bar end weights are Evotech Performance. I actually got the mirrors from Amazon. I typed in BMW S1000R mirrors and they popped up. The were $120 when I bought them but I think they went since I bought them. If you have the M1000r you will need bar mirror kit that Rizoma makes.

Hey there so I just want to make sure before i purchase the mirror won’t loop on the existing bar end adapter correct ?

Yes I have the stock bar end weight/adapter on with these mirrors.

How did you get the mirror clamp on the stock bar end? I removed the spacer and tried to open it more but it won’t fit

Now that you had the bike for some time. Do you think its a better overall package than the sfv4?

Yes I like how smooth it is over the SFV4S. The SFV4S has the advantage in looks and sound though.

lol this bike is not better than the sfv4s in any category. You might be comparing to the old gen v4. That said. I really like those mirrors. How come I can not find them anywhere online?

@@d.magnus425 yes I have, before I rode the v4s actually, I liked it but to me it does not compare to the Ducati. And I now own a 2024 v4s, after riding both of them.

@@rubyv4s Well, If you rode a new M1000R with the rev limiter on, it is not better than the V4S. However, if you rode it after the rev limiter was removed it is by far a better all around bike imo.

The mirrors have gone bad to worse. Plus they are so small? Even if they didnt shake they look useless Whats the point?

The point is that I could see a lot better with these over stock. The stock mirrors are unusable.
