It was about a global stock market decline. Cover Corp, the owners of Hololive, declined by about the same percentage on the same day. It was a very bad day for the Japanese stock market, haha. The S&P 500 regained about half of its loss on the Very Bad Day today, though. Not sure what happened in Japan (I guess it's already early Saturday morning there, so their session closed ~12 hours ago). I don't know about Japan, which is literally a dying society, but the US stock market will be fine in the longer term. Jerome Powell just needs to cut rates in September and we're back on an even keel.

Maybe I'm just not seeing it but I've never thought that Hex's fanbase was toxic, I mean his usually live viewer count is around 900, which is relatively lower than other Niji Livers I've seen, it only really makes sense that he might be a little more close to his viewers.

I wouldn't call myself a fan of his, but I enjoyed some of his videos. I do not know what are the issues that he had in the past, with his fans, nor I know him in person, but I guess most people here in the comment section have similar views about him, and that he's just a bad seed in the earth. And so are ALL of the toxic, problematic, Vtubers out there. I guess that Vtubers like him haven't done anything good in their lives, that's why we "couldn't care less" or it's "inevitable" or "next, please". No matter how many good things you have done, if you have made one bad thing, you are already crap to people. Well, not just crap, but you are the worst kind of person in world. Facts are facts. And I wonder, what if one of your favorite Vtubers made a toxic/disgusting/insensitive remark/action or they just have behavior that you find that it's bad, I guess they'll be thrown in those "I couldn't care less" group, right? I don't really know what happened, I don't know him personally, nor I don't know his issues, and I do not justify whatever bad things he has or may have committed in his Vtubing tenure, but at the end of the day, let's be kinder to people. We do not know their history, their daily struggles, their life, because we were not there in person. Well, I guess most people in the comment section know him personally, so yeah.

Damn, the notification AND actual graduation date are both in August? Guy must need out bad. The way his sanity seems to have nosedived off a cliff lately, it's probably understandable. But this is the fastest actual graduation Niji have done I think. Usually they make them stick it out another couple months at least. Wonder when Kotoka's official graduation will be announced? EDIT: Hm, on listening to him talk it seems lie he probably turned in his notice earlier in the year. Probably around when the Doki situation was really blowing up. Guess Niji just didn't wanna announce it back then, for obvious reasons.

This is the first NijiEN graduation where the graduating liver probably won't be welcomed back in the Vtubing community, given how Hex slandered Zaion after her termination and more. That said, though it's extremely unlikely, I do hope Hex will reflect on his actions and try to atone moving forward. Who knows, maybe something crazy will happen to him after no longer being in a work environment that rewards toxicity that will give him the perspective to realize how wrong he was. I'm not holding my breath, but I think he can get one last chance.
