@@nopeno-s5r It just goes to show the absolute state of Yugioh now and how the playerbase is conditioned for opening hand scooping. Playing a single turn is just too long for people these days. Especially when the game doesn't facilitate for duels lasting more than 2 turns on a high leveler level because of the 300 second timer (Josh had literally 1 second left on his clock to turn the duel around). There's too much to read. Too much to think, too many combos to counter combo. Konami really is trying to expedite duels and discourage long duels. The Yugizoomers aren't any better either when they refuse to stick around for more than one turn. But, that's a biproduct of Konami's power creep and evolution of the game.

People haven't used in Raizeol yet is Steelswarm Roach. Flamberge never officially exist on field if negated by Roach and since it isn't in the hand either during that time it doesn't get its grave effect. Paired with Dweller Snake-Eyes will struggle to compete with Raizeol because they can negate Dweller but they still probably be forced to make S:P using Snake-Eyes Ash before special summoning Flamberge. It isn't as if they can wait till your done popping off to use to negate Roach and use Nibiru because Rafflesia + Gravedigger solves that issue and you can use Rafflesia to follow up with Raizeol during their turn. Best part is you have all the room you need going 2nd to make a meal out of those snakes. Revenge is a dish best served cold. I hope we can see Apallousa and Beatrices cards on pike. On first glance people would Caesar is better. However it only negates a effect that attempt to special summon Roach negates the special summon meaning it doesn't negate Ash or Oak. It instead negates stops Flamberge before it can exist on field. If D Barrier is activated you have Ice Raizeol and Big Jaws to get you materials to link summon before your locked into lv.4 xyz. Making I:P is the most realistic option and paired with any 1 hand trap can buy you enough time to win.

Never gonna happen, because of vaylantz. Their 3ntire gimmick is to summon pend monsters out of the scales into monster zones above them. The onlyn ruling possible to maybe rule flammberg in is to make a special rule that cards like him cannot place in pend zones, which sadly isn't gonna happen.

Seeing a lot of comments about Maxx C here, and not to be an apologist, but here we see Maxx C doing *exactly* what it is supposed to do. Forcing a balls to the wall combo pseudo ftk deck to play a mid range first turn by giving Josh a couple of draws. Most of the time, this ain’t how it plays out however 😂

What's funny is most Pendulum decks would rather play a 3-4 turn duel than 1-2 turn one. A Pend decks turn 1 is just you sweating your ass off hoping the opponent didn't draw 2 HT's because your choke points are so pronounced. You'd much rather snowball your advantage and let your cards float and clean up on next turn. The designers have screwed over Pendulum in a way where Pendulum doesn't exist as itself anymore, but instead as Mathmech or Mannadium in a Trench Coat with Rainbow-Coloured sunglasses. Any Pend Deck that dares deviate from Magician/Dracoslayer Non-HOPT combo looping is pretty much relegated to unplayable garbage and it makes me super mad because there's a lot you can do with pendulums that's not just Monster Combo.

If anything, I was impressed by how the pend player held on, without using hand traps, until they misplayed on that TY-PHON play.
