I know often even when you are subscribed to a channel, sometimes youtube just stops putting their content in your feed. Then its easy to stop watching them and eventually unsubscribe. I will never see more than half my subs if I don't actively seek them out😅

Yeah I lost a good chunk too. KZbin has been clearing out a lot of inactive and bot accounts over the past few months. Also sometimes people sub for one particular thing then unsub over time. honestly it's better to have a stronger core audience than an inflated number with no engagement! So head up, king!

Honestly I feel it’s because for the longest time you were “That guy who knows Markiplier/Jacksepticeye” and so they just subbed without really watching your content until they unsubbed. I don’t really blame those people as I have also had the bad habit of subbing to tons of channels despite me only watching like a video of there’s, and I’m guilty of doing this to you too, but I will say when you made the shift in content I decided to give it a shot and haven’t regretted it. Don’t see the subs lost as a bad thing, see it as making room for people who really care for you and your content.

I could see how fixating over numbers as a youtuber could really mess with your head! I watch youtube to see the content creators want to produce so to me your change in content is positive, it just may take a while for people (especially those who originally followed for gaming) to catch up and realize your new content is actually really fun to watch

It’s the content shift Eef, and possibly the rebranding 💀 When you change the content you put out, some don’t change with it, they subbed for the stuff you used to make. It’s unfortunate, but it’s just people. Fortunately, I think the non-gaming videos have a bigger audience, if you keep it up, you may lose more people, but you will gain a lot more. Well my man first off I just Subscribed second off you are a very attractive man the blonde hair looks awesome. Keep being you and do what YOU want. I kind of understand how you feel about the subscriber things it kind of happened with me with twitch not only with me getting denied my second level from affiliates a partner but after I was denied after over a month it took them to tell me I lost 400 subscribers and even lost all my subscriptions that were paid.
