It is advisable to save at least 15% of your income in a 401(k). Online calculators can help you estimate the appropriate savings amount based on your age and income. By saving at least 15% of your income in a 401(k), you can work towards a comfortable retirement. This strategy allows you to benefit from compound interest, potentially growing your retirement savings significantly over time.

I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $338k stock portfolio. With Roth IRA, the money you are contributing has already been taxed. At any time for any reason, you can withdraw your contributions tax-free and penalty-free. Additionally, any earnings on investments can also be withdrawn tax-free and penalty-free, Not sure how much to contribute.

Exactly why i enjoy market decisions being guided by a pro , seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk management and market experience , been using a portfolio-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over $3million in that time frame.

Alex Campili cuz not a lot interests me....I’m not trying to sit in an office for 40 years, no matter what job they give me in that office. Not trying to do trade work for the next 40 years either...really just don’t wanna be a slave to the system. So I’ll work one of those “great” jobs you mentioned for about 10 years and try to retire and enjoy time with friends family and children...is it that hard to understand? We all can’t love those slave jobs man.
@alexc5369
@alexc5369 4 жыл бұрын
@@b__w_4565 I agree, it can feel like being a slave to the system if you don't enjoy what you do, owning a million dollar business can still feel like you are a slave with a certain mindset, from your first dollar you earn and pay tax on you are contributing the 'the system'. I'm just getting at, if you don't aspire to be an office worker.. then don't go down that path.. don't go to uni for years for a degree that will lead you to an office role and then complain that you are a slave. It is still important to have a purpose, not just 'spend time with friends and family' - what will you be doing when your kids are at school, and your friends are working? However you decide to earn your living, it will always be by providing value in the market place, there are thousands of ways to do this. Good luck in finding your path.

I definitely see how this orientation towards work & life is directed towards millennials. We don’t have a family to cover for healthcare, vision, dental, and medical insurance. In U.S. these get super costly and employers provide security in this way.

I love this. I’m another year away to quitting my job and starting a KZbin channel myself. Mostly posting this to look back on when we’ve both made it lol Also, would be really interested in content about how much you earn from your channel!

I work in a warehouse for minimum wage doing physical labor. With only high school education and still trying to save for college, which requires time and money that I don’t have still . Future is really uncertain can feel hopeless and overwhelming.

You Sir, are incredible. I found your channel recently... or really, your channel found me. And I have been so inspired by everything you have to say. I love how approachable you are. You feel like a friend and not just a talking head on my computer screen. This video has inspired me the most out of all your videos so far and left me compelled me to write you a message. I do hope you get to read this so you can absorb my words. Truly, you are a wonderful human being. I relate so heavily to your words and in particular to the two paths. I once had two paths presented before me and I took the dark and scary one knowing that the other one would probably lead me to 'quiet desperation'. Something came over me that day and I hope I can tap into it again so I can really ignite my dreams of a path similar to yours. All the best my friend, Natalia
