I'm working on the ribbing of my Field Day Cardigan while I watch! I've done quite a few colorwork sweaters - I love them so much! I highly recommend any of Jennifer Steingass! I've made her Treysta and Fern and Feather sweaters, and I have a few more planned out. The colorwork is very addicting to knit up and they're complicated but not difficult to knit.

My first colorwork project was socks. It was a summer Lee knit design. I knit on 2.25 mm needles, but did 2.75 for the colorwork. The colorwork was only on the leg, which I loved. At first, I was scared. It did like your sweater. But it blocked out perfectly. After I finished, I knit the exact same design with different colors 😂. I’m excited to do more colorwork. It was so fun! But I think I only want it on the leg of the sock and not the foot.

This pattern is so high on my list, along with the sweater she designed for bunnies (I used to have bunnies and am about to get another one once I move in a few months!). I was incidentally working on colorwork socks during this video. Great job on the tension! In the future if you're ever worried about how color work will block you could steam it with an iron, a steamer, or hang it in the bathroom for a bit to make sure it'll relax okay.

I was working on my own free hand panel by panel saloniki tunisian stitch sweater/crewneck(I haven't decided what it'll be yet) and I'm only 22/90(?) Rows on panel one Once I'm no longer afraid of knitting, I'll give it a proper go cause that is a stunning pattern❤
