actually bob marley wrote it and eric clapton covered if you look it up. Eric Clapton has a good version no doubt and Ren has a lot of Clapton in him. However in my comparison I wasn't comparing it to another rendition I just meant the guitar play in general on how he attacked the strings was real BB King like but no Bob Marley is the originator of I shot the Sheriff Eric Clapton only covered the song. People are letting you know the guitarist is "Romain", but he's #RomainAxisa and he has his own channel, too. Lots of guitar and some really great songs with vocals as well. Totally worth a follow, if not some reactions 😉 All three of the guitarists switch instruments (I almost typed "weapons" 😂) and all sing. I think Ren sings about 50% of the lead vocals, Gorran about 35% and Romain 15%... Romain seems to prefer his guitar solos to vocal solos. But he also moved to Brighton without knowing any English, which is almost amazing to me as his talent!

Come to think about this, those two (Lauryn Hill & Prince) are actually pretty good references when comparing Ren to other artists. Who besides Lauryn Hill is as masterful in both singing and rapping out there? Or who besides Prince can make his voice climb so freakishly high that you wonder whether he’s even human, whilst making his guitar sing and hit you with pinpoint precision exactly right where it needs to, all the while being groovy as f*ck with a versatility that just makes you sigh “genius, just genius…”. ? @ dude for real, Ren does read comments and watch reactions. That’s one of the many things I love about Ren. He knows “Hi Ren” set off a chain of events (1000 KZbin reactions) that built his base.
