re: 11:50 this game simulates the "fog of war"; if you see an enemy and lose sight you get that red outline showing their last known, but you aren't omniscient about where they are now. And doors you aren't watching won't update on the map until you look directly at them to confirm their status.

The first time I ran this mission I cleared the entire building except for that small bottom bathroom and couldn't find the hostage, so I breached into that bathroom to find both the hostage and the suicide vest insurgent in there who proceeded to detonate himself and kill one operator as well as the hostage, causing the mission to fail.... Enjoyed it though, those vests are deadly in CQB!

@Muhammad Huzaifa you should slap charge the door then engage from a distance, he gets stunned so you have an opportunity to kill him. Distance helps ensure you get the kill before he recovers and blows you up. Could also maybe have 1 person open it and run away while he’s stunned, with the other holding an angle on the door from a distance, but that’s much riskier.

I was stuck on this mission for hours too! SPOILERS:: I had such a difficult time with the s-vest in the main bathroom, holding the kitchen and it's hard right angle, and dealing with a NtoS flank from 3 breaches across 180°. It's a doosie. I doubt a team of 2 is capable of this feat irl. 4-6 recommend in my mind.

back when Rangers could still pick locks (I don't think they can after this most recent update) you could run this with a loadout of 2 suppressed MP5s and Glock .40's, wait for the guy to disappear on the cam, pick the door, make silent entry, bash in the first room to the left, catch them by surprise and clear, charge the door to the second room and fight from that threshold while maintaining security then just about the only place you'd actually have to go clear is that bathroom because one is always hiding in there.

As someone who has had advanced training in room clearing, I can tell you that stopping in a doorway will get you yelled during training and will get you killed in a firefight. The Marines used the phrase "the violence of action" a lot during the invasion or Iraq and after. Basically saying that when you are on offense, the enemy is reacting to you. When it comes to firearms, if you are reacting to your enemy, you are likely to die.....you want them reacting to you. Whoever is reacting is will always be slower because you have to observe the person acting, your brain interprets it, and your training kicks in......by that time, the person is shooting at you while you are still standing there. The fatal funnel is also named that because your movement is limited to either forward or backwards. When you are inside that door frame, you are not only the only target for everyone in the room, but you cannot move laterally as well. This is a pretty cool looking game and it makes me want to play it just to try the tactics I've learned over the years and see how it would play out. My training, which is mostly for 1-2 people clearing rooms teaches you to stack and move together. You clear rooms quicker. When you go into a room you either go left or right (unless the door opens to a wall on the left or right) and the person behind you goes the opposite. When you are alone you could have the misfortune of going left and there be someone on the right side of the room, but that's the risk you take. If your partner is with you and you enter that room and go left, that person on the right side will be trying to target you (and will almost always shoot behind you, if you are moving like you should be) and your partner will have a clean shot on them while they are standing still. It's fun to watch the "bad guys" in our scenarios miss the guy that comes in first. You will see 4-5 blue impact marks (from simunition rounds) on the wall looking like this . . . . because they are trying to hit that moving target.

Problem is they are already responding, not reacting at the point where the fatal error is made. There is no perfect method to the chaos that has already started. In an ideal scenario sure but the variables were not favorable at that point in time.

You indeed brought with you silenced pistols on both assaulters. You can order them to change weapons or reload manually if you feel the need to. Also, as another commenter pointed out, Shift+F changes silence/loud mode for all operatives.

@@vinigarr801 but after 23 shots, you may want to consider it lol. You don’t just reload on an empty mag, you reload whenever you’ve shot some and you have a moment to do so. You get into a really bad spot if you run out of ammo in the middle of a firefight.

If you treat every mission as if real people were involved, you'll carry a huge burden when they die....in a video game. I think you're correct in that thinking, but it comes at a cost. The error was getting "funnelled"- provoked in going into that (you named) "study room up there, also actually leaving before breaching the two open for an assault from the upper window., instead going for the small rooms on bottom right and kitchen would have been better , of course always with bang as u taught us.

Even I know that 6:03 was a mistake. The map literally tells you the way. Take the south route by one operator, take the long pass with another one. Clear the perimeter, then engage the big room in the middle.

Whoever designed this map has a twisted sense of humor. Between the long hallway that has LOS on the SW entryway and all of the apertures that open onto the NE entryway, there isn't really a good door to kick.

He could've but it would have been more risk since there's exposures from the uncleared bathroom and kitchen, the enemy could've been flanking through the kitchen responding to the noise so it's just alot of angles to cover with only 1 guy and creates alot of unnecessary risk imo cause sitting in the room holding long left him alot less exposed with the option of backing up and utilizing the fatal funnel (door way) if he was to get overwhelmed by enemy fire which gives the other guy total rear security allowing him to work the room with a flashbang or whatever he chooses without having to worry about getting shot in the back. You probably figured this out already since it's been 2 years but hopefully you find this info useful! I know I'm no cpg but I did my best haha, have a wonderful day!

That's exactly what you should do, unless you're unsure if you have the right individual or unaware of the total number... Or if it's safer to complete clearance prior to exfil.
