Dave is such a phenomenal teacher. Fully aware of what his body is doing and when, and able to communicate that in a very effective manner.

On this video you can see the "famous" quote: " A true Expert makes his craft appear to be effortless" Looking at Dave's swings it seems deceptive easy to do. Nice video ^^

Anton driving with these kinda gas prices 6 hours instead of just using KZbin magic is quite a statement about his passion to just learn from others! A true forever student! 🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️

That was a really fun video getting to compare the differences in the types of movements. They seem so similar but have key differences. He is a really good instructor. Explained things really simply. Hope you can get him to come and try one of your challenge courses.

Learned a lot watching that. He definitely moves about the bar in a different way - more efficient. Like seeing the gate of an ultra marathon winner vs the gate of most runners...

Anton answering your question in, I almost all the time see your video on my "initial" page on youtube. It usually shows on my feed a new video from the channels I'm subscribed. But sometimes when I remember it has been some weeks already I'll search and go to your channel and then see if there is new videos that I didn't see yet. And I use youtube this way (initial page, with few searches) for a year or more. Don't know how other people "youtube" but this is how I do it.

Comparing your first couple swings to his, he pulls in his legs/knees quite rapidly to get a faster rotation. His upper body is nearly vertical by the time he lets go of the bar; that way he is already flipped around back horizontal and looking at the next bar before he starts to even come back down.

Hey Anton. I love how you show us the movements possible with the human body. Have you thought about doing an athletics challenge...plenty of disciplines that require precise body control. What if in long jump one landed on your hands (head first vs feet first)...could one go farther? Before Dick Fosbury no one landed on their heads in high jump.

Hey Anton, I wanted to start with swinging on a bar with a few twists like I often see in social media in parks or on beaches. Can you maybe make a step by step beginner-pro tutorial? How do I not die instantly without mats? Love your videos, this summer I'll do a lot of stuff like this including ninja warrior for the first time, so I'll watch your channel a lot.

in comparison, Dave is way more arching backwards, he looks looser in his movements and lets his whole body lash more. Looking up and putting or more kind of thrusting the head backwards will make the body follow. In other videos you do that more, too. Like you wrote, no mats, you will get it, thats for sure. It might even be, that he has a rest of persistent stnr reflex, that woul help and be kind of superpower, to make the movement faster, but this is only speculation.
@catastropheli2 жыл бұрын
p.s. little misspelling in the description, did you mean high level of performance? ;) Lever is fitting though, he uses his body to lever himself around the bar.
