I don’t think being a gymnast is determined by the skills you have, I think it’s determined by your technique. As a gymnast, when I’m at open gyms and people are tumbling, I can almost always tell whether they do gymnastics or not.
@Android4802 жыл бұрын
Yeah I think that’s exactly right. It’s like those people who do amateur cliff diving on KZbin. They can throw in as many flips and twists as genuine Olympic divers, but they look completely different in the air.

Dear Diary, today I learned that I can beat an ex-gymnast/ninja warrior in a splits competition without being remotely in shape. I don't know why though. I don't think I really want to speculate either.😄 Hey, loved the video, Anton! 👍 I was wondering how difficult it would be to do a two person salmon ladder climb. Two people simultaneously on a longish bar?

I’d actually like to see you develop your flexibility. I think it would be very interesting to see how you respond to intense flexibility training and I think it could make for some interesting videos
@AntonFomenko2 жыл бұрын
Not really. I paid for intense 28days flexibility challenge and there was no improvement. Waste of time and money.
@gustavreinman62872 жыл бұрын
@@AntonFomenko Maybe intense training isn't the way to go, just stretch until you feel a small improvement everyday. Takes alot longer than 28 days tho. Hard to make interesting videos around it until you have made the improvements. Maybe just a before and after demonstration so you can prove how useless it is😂

I went from spending 2-3 hours doing massage to feeling great in under 15 minutes with his approach. Wouldn't be able to lift n run and all without him
@Muck0062 жыл бұрын
@@AntonFomenko There is a ballet performance from 2011 of Sleeping Beauty by the Bolschoi and the prima ballerina can move her shins in front of her knees. That wasnt the result of "intense training" but rather years / decades of stretching. Obviously it looks unnatural and is probably risky for her health ... but I'd think it gives her a slight advantage for any "spinning on the tip of the feet" moves.
