L'amore per la musica,più di ogni altra cosa,mi ha spinto ad imparare l'inglese. È bellissimo vedere che succede la stessa cosa anche a persone di lingua inglese. Sono orgoglioso dei maneskin e spero che continuino a scrivere canzoni in italiano,anche se sono diventati rockstar internazionali.

I am Italian, and I knew Måneskin since their debut at X factor, even though I didn't listen to them enough to consider myself a fan. seeing the whole world obsessing over them feels a little weird, but I must say that I really like their fanbase. I didn't see any gatekeeping from Italian fans to this day, which is great. I was passionate about Japanese since I started watching anime, and I was afraid that it would be considered a foolish reason to start learning the language. but the stories of people whose interest for something correlated to a language developed in speaking a new language fluently are really heartwarming. a hug to all Måneskin fans, you all are great and don't let gatekeeping put you down.

Hello, I'm Italian and I'm an English teacher. I must admit you learned so fast, especially the pronunciation and sounds of words because it's very complicated for an English speaker. Anyway if someone is already accustomed to learn foreign languages it's easier because in their brain the innate mechanism is the same for every language. Your knowledge of French helped you in some way. Then love and commitment played the rest in learning, having fun most of the times like when you listen to Måneskin. Saluti dall'Italia! @@gillian67ec No, Spanish is more similar to Italian for sounds and words, several of them are written and pronounced in the same way, while French has silent vowels especially at the end of words and a lot of diphthongs and triphthongs which are pronounced differently. Anyway, also French has a lot of words which can be related to Italian ones, especially the roots of words. Example: the word Primo (first) is Primero in Spanish, Premier in French but only in Spanish it has an ending in "o" like in Italian and it is fully pronounced.

You can do it!! 😊 And yes, I loved that company's French Grammar textbook, so I thought I'd give the Italian one a try. It's not a bad textbook, but I think when you're learning the basics it's not really necessary because there are SOOO many free resources out there to learn the basics.

It's actually one of the easiest a native English speaker can study - all the more reason to give it a spin lol.
@frigobar0173
@frigobar0173 2 жыл бұрын
@@cescovan it’s really not mate, I could give a thousand reasons why so I’ll just choose a few, Italian has got 7 verbal modes and 21 tenses, English has got 2 modes and 3 tenses, so you would have the think in a whole different way and just this reason is enough to make it one of the most difficult languages to learn for English speakers. The vocabulary is oftentimes very different, even though initially English came from Latin, like Italian, the influence of Celts and other people completely changed (or created) English language. In Italian we have got the courtesy form, a way to speak to show reverence and respect to people you don’t know or that the same or a more important status compared to yours (talking about job for example), this is a completely estranging concept for English speakers, because it’s not something that’s present in their language. All of this things are not present in other languages (for example German has got 6 tenses, French 8, even Spanish just has 14) … should I continue? (By the way I’m not saying that a language is better than another because it’s more difficult, I’m just stating facts to make you understand where I’m coming from, I want this to be clear).
@cescovan
@cescovan 2 жыл бұрын
@@frigobar0173 I wasn't trying to argue that Italian isn't hard to learn or that learning a language at all is anything short of impressive. I'm just saying that compared to all languages - even those comprised in the Indo European family itself - (languages that feature ergative-absolute alignments, or with different writing systems, Isolating or agglutinative languages, OV languages...) "one of the hardest an English speaker can learn" feels just like a bit of an overstatement.

well i learned english because the Beatles is right point to start learning a language because you like something related with that language , la pronuncia in italiano non è per niente male, devi solo dare la cadenza alle parole come lo fanno in italia, io ho imparato l'italiano perche ho immigrato 20 anni fa dal Venezuela ma non sapevo manco una parola, e ho imparato rinchiusa in casa guardando la TV, ti chiederai perche la TV? perche abitavo in un paesino piccolo dove la gente parlava Dialetto non italiano, quindi ho deciso di ascoltare la tv tutto il giorno e leggere quel che trovavo in italiano dopo sei mesi ero fluente e parlavo abbastanza bene leggere e scrivere non erano un problema para mi ho imparato velocemente :) essendo madre lingua spagnola l'italiano essendo una lingua latina come lo spagnolo mi è stato più facile da imparare che l'inglese :) BRAVA!!

As an Italian, only like 60% talk Italian correctly, other 30% talk italian incorrectly and 10% talk in dialects, not even knowing Italian, just only knowing most of the worlds and saying them correctly, you're already better than 10% of Italians, once you've mastered italian you actually become better than 40/50% of italians

Yes and no, I understand your point she kinda pushed a bit the title, but seriously she was good. And in just 7 days learning a language is not easy I know some people who have lived in Italy for over 10 years and they still make big mistakes while talking... And the same for italians I know many who work with other languages like english and they are terrible at it. More than her in just 7 days. Maybe she pushed the title she doesn't "know" the language, but is still impressive, and clever because she learned just the basics to be understood if she ever comes here (yes I'm italian)
@lauragoreni3020

@@sweetlioness3735 I'm Italian too but I'll answer in English so that everyone can understand. I didn't say she wasn't impressive in her language journey, she was. I just pointed out how the title was incredibly exaggerated and it may give people the impression that becoming fluent (and with fluent we talk at least B2 language level, and that's barely fluent) in a language from complete scratch in just a week is possible, while it is definitely not.
