I bought one as new in box from Japan. I swear it had never been used. Even with import duty and VAT it was a steal.

Always great when you can pick an old lens up in mint condition!

hi, can you see the serial number? I can't find it on the lens
@johnbragg2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Roberto. The serial number is very hard to see but it is laser etched on the bottom edge of the aperture ring. Hope that helps. Regards, John.

Have one. Fun to use. Lives on a Nikon N60. Surprising camera.

Does the focus box turn green with the FTZ? Can you change the aperture with the wheel? I have a Viltrox NFZ and can't seem to change the aperture from the camera and the focus box doesn't turn green. The EXIF will just say F0 and 0mm.

@donthompson2457 if you haven't found the serial number yet, it is on the aperture ring on the smooth part, very hard to see. cheers!!

My copy (mk1) is surprisingly good, but this lens is decades old and should always be serviced first. The aperture can be sluggish, the elements inside will be slightly fogged.

Can you use it with a full frame like the nikon d610?!
@rodriaanspruit3272 Жыл бұрын
for sure you can

Yes, it was a 35mm lens originally, the "kit" lens with the N2002, 4004, etc.

Hi, nice video! one question: where is the serial number? I have two of these lenses (35 -70 mark2) , but can't find it on either, thanks.

Hello! Fellow West Aussie here. I just got an Industar 5.6/30 as my first Soviet lens - if you don't have one already, you're welcome to borrow it for a video since it has quite an interesting history!
@SovietLensReviews2 жыл бұрын
Super cool, thanks for the offer - might take you up on that one, I don't have that one in my collection but would love to check it out! Will shoot you an email.

This was the first AF lens I bought, with my N8008s. It was a really a shock, it is *super-cheaply made*, there is huge slop in the front element group, the focus is incredibly loose and sloppy compared to a regular manual focus lens and almost all professional-quality AF lenses. The contrast is nothing to write home about and the flare is very questionable. I gave mine away very quickly, cheap and nasty.

Stopped down it can be very sharp.

I found a lens just like this at a thrift store and paid $10 for. I haven't tried it yet.
