I’m very late watching this, I was concerned about not receiving any notifications for live walks anymore, I’m glad to see you and your family moved to such a calm and beautiful place, makes me wanna walk around there too on a Sunday. It looks very safe too! Hope you share more videos!!

The best part of your live streams for me is the commentary. I enjoyed this 4K video because of the monologue. Great to hear your voice and your opinions!

I enjoyed the video TE and loved hearing your voice again. It was lovely to see the very blue sky and distinctive Scandinavian architecture and experience the calmness of the walk. Hearing your personal update about making the move was interesting too. I guess for lots of us who have followed your channel for several years, it is always fun and interesting to see what you are up to. Nice to hear about mini Explorer too and her progress with Swedish.

Welcome “back” TE - thanks for the walk. Maybe the old supercar fund wasn’t such a bad idea after all! 😊 Beautifully tranquil place you’ve chosen. It will be interesting to see how you and your wife feel about it all after a full year there. Good luck in your new home, whether it turns out permanent or temporary.

I was asleep, exhausted from the day, when this Premiere was live :( So I'm watching it about 3 hours later. The past week, I've been dealing with a winter cold. Everyone who watches, CLICK THE LIKE BUTTON 08:06 The snail sculpture looks silly. 11:17 Maybe a career change might be in order then. Open a coffee shop. 12:22 500 year old cathedral. The oldest church in my suburb here in Brisbane is only 99 years old. Long way to go. 16:57 Best of luck at getting a drivers license, TE Once you have your full drivers license in Sweden, will you look at getting an international drivers license for your trips back to Japan? 17:55 chat I thought I was old at not learning to drive, till I was 21. The idea of learning to drive, at age 42 feels very weird to me. I got rid of my drivers license at age 40. By then I'd not driven a car for 10 years, I'd have needed to relearn how to drive, and I had no car or access to one. So there was no real sense in keeping a drivers license. 18:25 Humidity. It's been a very dry and cold snap here in Brisbane the past week. 6C to 9C day time minimums, and 30 to 50 percent humidity. Very not nice conditions for my asthma, so using my humidifier at my place, all day every day, has been a must. 21:53 It's weird seeing a lake without Swan Boats. 23:29 Waking up to bird sound. I don't have to open my windows to hear them of a morning. They are that close and loud, that I can hear them clearly, even with all the windows still closed. Thanks very much for this video TE. Looking forwards to your next one.

Europe is more culturally diverse, especially Scandinavia it had a huge impact on modernising Europe. Vikings settled in many nations. I love Tokyo, but if l was to choose Scandinavia over Japan l would 100% choose Scandinavia

Hee. Hi, TE. Glad the move went well, that's always a lot. Wonder how the family will like winters over there. (Which reminds me , I had the impression you needed snow driving lessons for a Swedish licence. Fun, but it seems it'd take waiting for some snow. Taking a course in that might be worthwhile: if you can handle that, you'll get *really good at driving* if you can still learn motor skills. :) Also a stunning number of younger Americans aren't learning to drive, cars are too expensive and unexciting and hard to break into fixing up like we used to as kids. (which was how to afford anything for many) They Uber or bum rides a lot, even in car-dependent places. And the windmill could be interesting enough. I speculate maybe it was built to raise water to some storage to provide some water pressure for the town.

Yes, a Swedish small town at the peak of summer vacation is very quiet.
@FindecanorNotGmail5 ай бұрын
There are some small Swedish towns that instead experience an influx of people _on_ vacation at this time of year. There are more than usual number of visitors from Germany and Denmark right now because of the poor exchange rate. I went to Göta Kanal and Öland earlier this summer, and these places were quite lively. There have even been warnings of possible overtourism from Visby on the island of Gotland and from the Northern mountain hiking trails.

Didn't you plan last year that you wanted your daughter to grow up in Sweden? It seems though that you will always go back to Tokyo. I can understand that. I just came back from a vacation to five very large cities in five different countries and after returning to my home own of 70.000 people I miss all the things those large cities have to offer. Giant shopping malls, great public transport and so much to see that you never run out of places you have not seen yet. Especially Moscow surprised me very positively.
