Yeah I remember this . Summer and Fall 1982. I was 19. 40 years later at age 59 this songs brings back memories of the last few years of life before the weight of Adulthood came crashing thru. NYC in the House. A stable of WBLS, KISS FM & WKTU. No need to say more.

This is one of those jams that I heard only a few times when it came out and then it disappeared from my world. I didn't know it's title or the artist but it stuck with me for like 30 years even though I never heard it again. In Los Angeles about October of 1982 they played it on KISS FM and KUTE 102. After a month I never heard it again. I was 19 with my first girlfriend Donna in my 1973 Capri. Good times man

The commenter seemed legit and unlikely to misinform or make a mistake like that, but I didn't know for sure, curious to see if my hunch was correct, I looked in to it and found this. KIIS-FM (102.7 MHz) is a commercial radio station licensed to Los Angeles, California, United States, and broadcasts to the Greater Los Angeles area.
