Whole video is on point. A lot of these women are creating an illusion and a dangerous illusion at that. Most men are not funding a woman’s entire lifestyle without wanting something in return. A lot of these girls are quite literally selling their souls all for a “soft life”. Selling their souls to a man, selling their souls to money, selling their souls to items.

I had to pin this comment because you are soooo spot on with this comment! The scary thing is that other women (like myself) promote the soft life and hide the ugly side of it, which creates an illusion that it is all rainbows and butterflies. It’s deception and I pray more women repent and start to share their testimonies. There is absolutely nothing soft about the “soft life” that is being presented online. When I was living a “soft life” my sin was creating a false lifestyle, I was a liar which was as far as I went. Some women are genuinely putting themselves in harms way by depending on a man who they believe is “high value” based on human standards. It’s demonic and such a shame! Thanks for your comment ❤

I'm an RN in my 20s asnd seeing other nurses on social media buying luxury apartments and cars, having an expensive beauty routine, taking trips every 3 weeks have made me feel a bit jealous and that I am lacking something. But I learned that they are working 7-1212 hour night shifts in a row and literally working to the bone just for this....yeah I'm good with all that

Wow! I’ve heard this a lot about some nurses. When you peel back the layers you realize quickly that there is NOTHING to be jealous about. Working to the bone only to flex on social media is truly a sad sight to observe. There is no one that can convince me that there is anything luxurious about that lifestyle. I was going down that path myself. All we can do is pray for them and make young girls aware that it is all a lie. Young girls are impressionable and easily fall for the pretenses online.

Some of them are not lying. That is often what people say to feel better about their reality. The thing is you never know what is what and you shouldn’t care. My mom would always say to me don’t be jealous of other people because you don’t know how they got it, whether good or bad. People should stay in their lane and focus on themselves. I know a lot who are lying unfortunately, hopefully they share their own testimonies someday. All I can do is be candid about my testimony. I take everything on social media with a grain of salt. I feel like most things are for the aesthetic especially on instagram. It’s cute to watch but I feel like most of it is fake. In reality most people are working a 9-5 living from paycheck to paycheck. If they do go on vacation maybe it’s 2 weeks out of the year. They are not living that soft life everyday 🤣 I use to feel so much anxiety from instagram. No matter how strong you are as a person sometimes it will get in your head…Just feeling like you’re not doing enough. I feel so much lighter since I deleted instagram. I would live for the post which cheapened the experience. I truly don’t believe humans should live in that way. It’s draining! Most people are living paycheck to paycheck in this economy, especially those who let social media pressure them into presenting a certain lifestyle. We gotta be foreal about that. Also, I think that you made a great point about most of these women are working. It’s either covertly or overtly. I think that if people do not have active listening skills, they will miss that some of these women are sneakily working by selling books, makeup, etc. There is a very famous soft life financial advisor that I admire for her work ethic, however, she blatantly says, spend others money & save your own. I don’t know how much transparency can one have to see that despite her claiming a soft girl life, she is still working ( maybe not as much as other women).

And working a job is admirable. There’s nothing wrong with it. But there are far too many women playing make believe online as if they are wealthy and spoiled when they absolutely are not. There are probably very few who truly do have it like that. But the vast majority do not. Statistically speaking, it doesn’t even make any sense! 😅 It’s so important for us to use discernment and not compare our lives to the lives of others. It’s also important to make genuine connections and not try to curate a lifestyle. Living our lives in Christ and being true to the will of God in our lives is the most important thing ❤

Talking of Shera Seven, if you look at her KZbin channel you'll find that she consistently shows up for livestreams which can sometimes end up being 5 hours long. This for her is an income stream, and many people pitch in some money by sending her superchat or thankyou stickers. Do the maths, if someone shows up nearly every other day and gets paid by KZbin and advertises their other products which also get sold in great numbers (cosmetics, ebooks & memberships in case of Shera) by the end of year that person would be rolling in money. But I gotta give it to Shera, she does advocate for building multiple streams of income and making sane financial decisions.

The luxury lifestyle, just seems so stressful, exhausting, fake, and materialistic to me. When you said the woman with the horse, that’s me. I like the quiet and simple life. I want to live on land with a garden, chickens, and a horse. Thats living a rich and soft lifestyle to me not the money and items. The “soft life” depicted online is very forced. As someone who used to pretend to live that lifestyle, I can honestly say most of it was staged. I like living the true soft life with my lord and savior, Jesus Christ. My priorities now are being a child of God, a wife, and a mom. I prefer serving others and not obsessing over myself and instagram posts. I have so much more peace and it shows. The fact that my skin has cleared up was truly a physical sign to me that I was heading in the right direction. Iono yo …. My mother is on ssi and was on welfare her whole phuking life. One day she said to ME “ all these b’s in the building is hating on me because they gotta get up n go to work everyday. I get up and go shopping everyday if I want to !
