The Gladiator looks awesome. Been running Fox 2.0's up front on my '14 F-150 for 4 years, and Fox 2.0's in the rear for about 3 years. Can't say enough good things about them.
@BuiltForDirt5 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear! It’s my first time running them so good to know they hold up great. Although I haven’t ever heard anything bad about them

What’s the overall height of the truck with the lift and 38’s?
@BuiltForDirt4 жыл бұрын
The highest point on the soft top sits right about 79.5”
@keithlea68045 жыл бұрын
Im thinking 40s would be about right for this truck.
@BuiltForDirt5 жыл бұрын
I totally agree, although i think I’m already pushing the limits of the Dana 44s with the 38s I’m running. I would love to have one tons and 40s eventually

Can you drive 80 90 on the hwy with your setup? Comfortable?

Yeah of course. It drives great. I usually cruise around 70 though, the speed limits around where I live are all 65.

I’ve got the gladiator rubicon I’m looking at a 4.5 inch lift with 38’s. I’d like to know if I’ll have to change my axels or drive shaft??
@BuiltForDirt3 жыл бұрын
No it’s not necessary to change the front driveshaft until you approach about the 6” lift area
@JackMacc25 жыл бұрын
how high does the truck sit with the lift and tires?
@BuiltForDirt5 жыл бұрын
It sits about 6" higher from both the lift and the increase in tire size.
@JackMacc25 жыл бұрын
TJ Mitchell Films cool. I’m 6’2” and want to own something that’s taller than me lol
@chrisprice2797 ай бұрын
Did you get any tire rubbing at all?
@BuiltForDirt7 ай бұрын
Nope none. Got quite a few videos rock crawling and flexing it out on the channel and no rubbing issues at all.

How much trimming was needed? For these specs ...possible with a non rubicon
@BuiltForDirt5 жыл бұрын
No trimming required at all. I would guess on a non Rubicon that you would just need remove the lower part of the fender and get a light/brace kit from adventure labs or something similar. If your only street driving though you could run 37s on a non Rubicon with 3” of lift just fine. You can see me get really flexed out in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4Suq4qsa9dsftk

Plenty of other videos with the Jeep wheeling on the channel
@hill1608815 жыл бұрын
We want to see it doing the trail not you jabbering about it. I had to put together my 2.5” lift from several sources. It’s a rubicon and I run 37s and it is fantastic. I ran rough country 2.5” coil lift front with Clayton adj upper and lower control arms. Then a spacer kit in the rear. Rock krwler spring correction pads up front and fox 2.0 front shocks, and stock shocks rear.
@BuiltForDirt5 жыл бұрын
Then watch the next video where I’m wheeling it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4Suq4qsa9dsftk

All good, also this kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZmZcq1uhLyfq5o and I think there are a few others I have wheeling it.
@hill1608815 жыл бұрын
TJ Mitchell Films the wheelbase May be long but they are so stable and confident in the rocks I was shocked. I was not expecting this. Surprised many in the group I was with. While there keeps fell right into the holes other jeeps had made I went through them with ease. The trail was not difficult and the only issue was turning radius.

Disappointed in the choice of wheels.
@BuiltForDirt5 жыл бұрын
Why is that? I’m on a budget here, will be upgrading to bead locks eventually but this was all I could afford at the moment. I couldn’t use the factory wheels because they weren’t wide enough
