I liked the Star Wars sequels too, but I'm sure not thinking about the fact that most people hate it while I'm watching it. I just enjoy chilling and watching it.

The hyper criticism of disney is because people are not happy with them. They don't listen to the fans or do what the fans want in their films and at the parks in recent years. I go to Disney every year sometimes multiple times in a year and since 2021 the park experience has gotten worse. This is the same for the movies. People know what Disney is capable of creating great content and experiences and they will fight to get that back.

I’m in the same situation, you see back in 2021 I like the Video Game Balan Wonderworld I thought it was a alright game, but the internet was showing me this game constantly getting dunked on, so little of it was actual criticism, 90% of was just hate. And people actually attacked me for liking it. 😔

Honestly, I didn't and don't hate Wish... but I WISH it were a lot better (and based on what they didn't do, it could've been a stronger "return to form" for Disney). I just dislike some of the choices made & the overall message at the end. Also, I loved The Marvels. It was just so fun, and I hadn't even seen the streaming-only series that connected the newer characters... which is honestly one reason why a lot of these recent films have failed.

I never understand why people care about what other people like. Prime example for me would be The Marvels. I genuinely thought it was one of the worst films I have ever seen, but I was happy some people seemed to enjoy it. Let people enjoy things again!

Skul, maybe something that will help you, is this: There is a difference between enjoying something and thinking it’s good, and there’s a difference between hating something and thinking it’s bad. There is a difference between someone’s subjective feelings about a film, and the objective quality of it. What I mean by this is, someone’s enjoyment of something is an entirely different conversation than their take on it’s quality. For example, The Room is a film that everyone universally agrees is terrible, but despite this, many people adore it as an unintentional comedy. For another example, let’s move to Transformers. I hold the very common opinion that Transformers is a bad movie (my objective opinion), but I still very much enjoy the movie, while still acknowledging the flaws (my subjective opinion). Going to an example you mentioned in the video, Disney Star Wars, I hold the unpopular view that The Mandalorian is a bad show. I’ve mentioned this to my friends who like it, and while they agree with my criticisms and no longer think it’s good, they still continue to enjoy the show, warts and all. Basically what I’m saying is, don’t take people’s criticisms of a film’s quality as a criticism of your enjoyment of it. Those are two entirely different conversations. It’s entirely possible to acknowledge flaws in things you love while still loving them, and I’ve found that this mindset encourages more critical thinking while still allowing people to enjoy the things they do. I'm annoyed that Disney Movie Club didn't even get a 4K version of "Wish", the movie that was supposed to celebrate the company's 100 years. And yeah I get DMC is shutting down, but holy shit.

I know how you feel when you love something, but no one else does. I actually love the Star War Sequels I really do. It not ironic, and I'm not joking. Force Awaken and Rise of Skywalker are my 2 favorite Star Wars movies. Last Jedi isn't my favorite, but I learned to appreciate it because I have to defend the sequels so many times. My favorite character of the whole Star Wars franchise is Rey Skywalker. I get bullied for that. I love Rey (and yes, she is Skywalker, whether you like it or not). She was the reason I became a huge fan of Star Wars. I mean, I was a fan but not as big until I met Rey in Force Awakens. I thought she was amazing and badass. I'm so excited to see more of her in the new movie that was announced its about her.

i've been saying since i saw this back in december it's like a 7 out of 10 but everyone says it was horrible and i too hated when i saw the ai acusations

I absolutely love Wish. There were many moments that brought me to tears in the film, especially the scene where at all costs plays. I’m so happy to own the film on 4K.

Yeah I liked Wish. And I also saw it in 3D. It wasn't nearly as amazing as Elenental, but it was still pretty good. I see no reason to hate on it

Yea, people are way too harsh on the movie industry right now. Loved quantumania, the marvels.. I liked it, it wasn’t a great movie like you said, but I did enjoy the marvels. It’s quite sad how people always find ways to hate nowadays :/
