Waking up and seeing an order confirmation email for Indiana Jones and the dial of Destiny on UHD first thing in the morning was not pleasant. I should set an alarm because I still haven't, I just watch my email like a hawk. In fact, I'm going to set a reminder on my phone to go off every first Wednesday

As for my first orders, I got Tron, the Atlantis 2-Movie Collection, The Emperor's New Groove 2-Movie Collection, Lilo & Stitch 2-Movie Collection, The Black Hole, and Robots. I tacked on Lilo and Stitch for an extra $10. And on top of it, while it was hard to fix, I had a mistake with an order, where I ordered the 3D Blu -ray of Toy Story from DMC and instead got Avengers Age of Ultron. A movie I didn't want because I don't care for Marvel. I managed to get in touch with a cast member and they shipped out the 3D BD of Toy Story for free, while letting me keep Avengers AoU.

I'm actually considering joining Disney Movie Club this month since I'm building up a Blu-Ray collection of my own, and I see this video on my feed. Thank you for all the info on it, can't wait to put in my movie orders to bolster my collection!

The Disney Movie Club, from what I understand, was in the way of Columbia House. You got a few movies for nearly nothing, but you had to order a given minimum of others at full price.

One complaint I have about their "DMC Exclusives" is that they are VERY bare bones and basic. Sure you get the movie, but none of the bonus features from the past DVD release. For example, the exclusive Blu-ray of "Holes". It's the full movie in HD, but it doesn't have the blooper reel, cast interviews, etc. You are JUST getting the movie. And some of the cover arts (like "Holes") are basic as hell, too. For their exclusives, "bare basics" seems to be the name of the game.

How do you even sign up? It says I need to link my membership number to a disney account or sign in using my Disney account credentials. When I use my disney plus account it says "That email is not associated with a Disney Movie Club Membership. Please try again." How am I supposed to start a membership

Thank you for the info! What’s the status on 4K? Can you get 4 free 4K movies at sign up or are they only Blu-ray? Does their inventory once you’re a member include the 4K’s? Thanks!

The 4 free movies max out at Blu-ray. But once you're a member you get access to all the 4Ks that are available--including 4K titles from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Fox, and a few more companies Disney owns.
