I think it was another story posted here, maybe the last or second to last video: guy says his gf always woke up early and hid to talk to someone on phone; he asked about it, she dismissed. In one occasion, she locked herself in a room for it. Guy asked about putting a recorder to see what she was talking about, and with whom, but reddit woke vermin went full rage, he shouldnt do that, she needs privacy, etc. He confronted her about the bullshit and turns out she was talking to her dead dad in a sicko way and when OP brought the questioning, she broke down saying now the dad is truly dead, ran off the house, and sent gangsta brother to expel him since the house was hers anyway. Reddit answe? "YTA, how dare you confront her" Even youtube is swarming of those vermin; when I wrote that, I got an answer "hurr, women deserve privacy, men dont". Honestly, this story has been done to death time & again... and typically if it's the woman getting her ass gaslight & lied to like that people defender her and blame the real victim whom got removed from their SO life over anothers lie. It's a terrible spot and frankly... The advice varies so damn'd wildly, but it often leans against men and favors women when it's words alone. That brother would be dead if I was around, and OP would seriously be pushed about for being such an idiot for not investigating whatsoever. It's a horrific story each time it happens, no matter who is involved, but sheesh.
@Rose-yt5hi

@@DePhoegonIsleI disagree. I’ve heard/read a few stories of a similar theme (relationship getting blown up because one partner believed a lie that the other was cheating), and in every case, regardless the genders, the consensus has always been the same: the one who believed the lie is the one at fault and the other is better off not giving them a second chance. The only time there’s some sympathy/understanding is when the lie was much more believable and thorough than what’s been presented here-e.g. photoshopped text exchanges, hired actors to play the AP and “confirm” the affair. This OP’s “evidence” was flimsy at best, and that he gave himself no time to gather more concrete proof or his wife any benefit of the doubt to defend herself is why he’s being so thoroughly roasted. Like it sounds like he received the email and in that same hour kicked his wife to the curb and moved his brother back in. Doesn’t exactly speak highly of his critical thinking skills, if anything else.

The moment the dad asked op to talk with is brother is the moment he should have been disowned with no chance of redemption I can't understand how the parents in the stories always act like forgiveness is on the table, instead of being the ones mad in the first place
@lycantabris
@lycantabris 9 ай бұрын
Not a parent, but an adult with parents, and I think it comes down to the guilty one being the one they are actively seeing the hurt of. Like, adults often go be by themselves or with their friends when they're deeply hurt rather than be vulnerable with parents or the one that's caused that hurt. On the flipside, the sibling that caused the hurt is most likely being very open with the pain they caused themselves with the guilt, especially to the parents because they want to be the victim/lessen how bad they're viewed. Blatantly visible pain and childish behavior by them leads to hitting those protective instincts in the parent that then leads to the parent making an ass of themself. It's still the parent's fault for not thinking things through, but given that once OP broke it down the dad was like "Oh, you're right." I think it was that.

Story 2: why are you with your boyfriend when you refuse to put him first? You don’t consider his feelings, you don’t care how much your actions hurt him, you don’t even seem to even consider his feelings at all. You run as soon as your friend calls despite knowing this wasn’t a life or death emergency, ditched your partner at the last second, expected your partner to get over it and accept not being a priority in your life, and aren’t questioning that your friends “emergency” was on your anniversary? The anniversary date your friend knew about? Knew that you’d been looking forward to? Your “friend” is probably scared he’s losing his grip on you from his life so he magically has an “emergency” right before your anniversary celebration knowing how much it would hurt your partner and knowing you’d come running… God I hope OPs partner leaves, he deserves so much better, he deserves to be someone’s priority and actually have his feelings considered

Inviting the perv brother BACK to the house was the absolute worst thing he could have done, he knew what he was doing, he knew his ex thought Robert was a creep and he WANTED to make her feel uncomfortable. Invited a gross little brat who stole her panties into the house to stalk her to make sure she was behaving. Just saying it like that makes me angry because you KNOW OP tried his best to make himself look like the victim in this. He weaponized his brother to make his ex feel uncomfortable, he's an abusive asshole! In the end the comment about who made the vows was spot on, we've heard stories about abusive in-laws, but when it comes down to it you have to circle back to the old saying "You don't have an in-law problem, you have a spouse problem." Blah blah hope OP goes to therapy and betters himself, but for now? Fuck him, he totally still thinks of himself as the victim "wah she used the word soulmate now I'm sad".

People are a little too quick to say " Dump Them " if you suspect your S.O. is cheating. I wish more people would go to a P.I. Especially since there's been an uptick in people being accused of things they are innocent of ( Thank You Not So Much , A.I. & Deep-Fakes. ) What gets me about this story is there wasn't any Evidence / Proof at all , just an E-Mail which easily could have been lies. And to move his brother back in.........there was no salvaging their marriage after that. Offenders / Predators like O.P. NO. 1's brother have an Escalation - Scale. He put her at risk for what , to punish her? And it also sounds like she was shunned from her social circle because of what happened meaning there wasn't anyone she could confide in........
