Hi Alex, thoroughly enjoyed your video dairy of your experience as an apprentice armourer working with Matt and the rest of the team. I look forward to your return to the LA Worksop and anvil as a journeyman! Best wishes Mike

Thanks Mike I really appreciate that! You may be happy to know that I am rejoining the army, I was always curious about the Army Air Corps so I applied to be a Groundcrewmen, I'll restart training at the end of this year! I intend to get a full bespoke harness from Matt over the next few years so I shan't be a stranger.

Don't jump in at the deep end wearing a suit of armour Alex, you might not come back up.

Funny you should mention that - I plan on going swimming in armour in the future. Unfortunately procuring the armour itself will take me a few years haha

Something tells me it's going to require a lot of boot polish.

Great film, looks like an exciting year AND you kept making videos! Legend. Don't suppose they need another 'prentice? Lightly used, some physical defects haha.

Haha well that would depend on how skilled you are. Lancaster Armoury are incredibly busy ATM so they can only open their doors to very experienced Armourers who have the skill and knowledge to complete projects by themselves with minimal assistance
