@kykrazy6050 wasn't it, though? I mean, the dialogue was amazing. I was just writing how Justified completely throws out the Chekhov's Gun principle, where if there's a gun in the first scene you have to shoot it by the third. Justified ignores the low-hanging fruit that's there just to draw your attention, and it does it so masterfully

Every so often a show comes along that demonstrates what the medium is capable of and it blows almost every other show, and most movies, completely away. And when you look to see why, it's obvious. Every step in the chain is just stunningly executed. Writing, casting, direction, lighting, camera work, performances all combine and make a whole that's even better than its excellent parts. This show was absolutely superb and scenes like this one show why.

Such a GREAT show. With a few exceptions, the heavies in Justified came off as reasonably smart, at least in their area of expertise, rather than the dumb blocks you often get in TV & film. I think it was Bo, Mags, Boyd and the rest of Raylan's antagonists that really took the show to the next level.

You are absolutely correct in that.

Wynn Duffy, not quite an antagonist, but definitely not a protagonist. still love that character. But Boyd was S tier.

The clever bad guys were balanced out by the likes of Dewey Crowe, who apparently didn't even know how many kidneys he had at any given time.

@@georgevanhoose6333 Dewey was so fucking stupid it was funny. Sometimes it seemed like raylan felt bad for him because he was stupid.

This was one of if not the best show on TV. He brought the character to life. Every single episode was fantastic.

I watched the first season last year and came to it about a week ago to start the second. It’s a massive jump in quality, it’s almost a totally different show. Olyphant should have won some awards for this.

It’s a tv show not some cowboy fantasy of yours. Don’t act like you speak for brown people either.
