Things most 16-year-old girls don't say, " I have my voltmeter setup to..." I like all the upgrades, you and dad did a great job setting up the switch and making it work for you. I would consider putting in the old-school brake light, just for the cool factor.

😀 Yeah , I did try to back out with the parking brake on, but soon realized it. Mine has a switch on it but must be oxidized as it didn't turn on the light in the dash on my 88 stang. Anyway. The 000's on you meter indicate you have continuity and the 1 means open circuit or no continuity when the meter is set to read ohms. Volts is different. Nice work.

This also shows the importance of being able to figure things out. Even when something is made to fit your car you often have to modify things to make it work.

This is very useful. No light in my dash to let me know it's on only a warning sensor beep beep after you drive it and it takes a little too long for my liking to let me know. 2008 vehicle you'd think it would have a light also.
