Today we take a look at Wincanton, Systems House, Newport Rd, Wavendon, Milton Keynes MK17 8AA. also known as Latitude 186 Gazeley.

We notice the gate was being kept closed so we decided to check it out and find out why.
Security speak to us and try to work out what is going on.
We take the drone around and then finish off with another chat with a member of staff.

I've noticed that many of these so called security working at similar places to this or in asda, are obese and lazy or elderly trying to have something to get up for whilst earning a few quid (not aiming it at the oaps these companies employ to keep the pay as low as possible) ..... I'd love to see these "security" working a door at a busy club on a weekend....(them "bouncers" /door men and women that do work doors are nothing like years back and do a great job and earn every penny, unlike the drips at these places)

If I were to have a guess, I'd say this building is full of useless PPE imported from China by friends of the Tories costing the UK Tax Payer Billions of £'s. Plus it costs around £27 Million a month, £320 Million a year to store this junk. I also read a little while ago that the Goverment has appointed two commercial waste firms to help it dispose of 15,000 pallets a month "via a combination of recycling and burning to generate power. That's Wincanton Milton Keynes.....they work in conjunction with HMRC and Boarder Force. They load and unload containers mostly full of cheap chinese crap. Awful company to work, the security and management were always complete paranoid wrecks for no good reason. Former employee, never again.

One small critique - why is it that when guards ask genuine questions (and not in a rude manner) do you act dumb or pretend to not understand their questions? I don't really get it. Curiosity always kills the cat, nice audit by DJA, he stuck to his guns, didn't give away any personal information he wasn't happy about sharing, the 2 security guards were ok, they behaved professional enough but acted more like police officers at times with their line of questioning and suspicions. The manager/supervisor (if he was either of these 2 things) was so desperate to get DJA to reveal something about himself but failed each time, it was actually quite comical listening to him, lol 🤣

Many moons ago I would collect full artic truck loads of McDonalds Monopoly cups, fries boxes and burger boxes etc from South Wales for their distribution center in the NW. The load was worth a huge amount of money (millions) so if we had to stop, it needed to be on a secure site, ie gates closed, X-amount of security staff and once you arrived all staff had to stay clear with no other trucks being allowed on site until the load had been tipped.

I use to collect many millions of pounds two up in a secure lorry from a cash centre . code numbers and biometrics were required on the lorry ,why would you need a secure site for paper cups , boxes etc who would want to steal them , if they did easy to hijack you on the road , but then who who would buy them , , did you have a secure tug unit with bullet proof glass and biometric entry , then had to generate a code to gain entry at your destination , did you stop at service areas if they were worth many millions , once we left the cash centre could not get out unless we were in a cash centre . it meant pissing in a glass urinal ,if you wanted a dump you were in trouble .

8:33 Hi DJ, Your supplier of useless information here. That piece on the gate is because the road slopes up (where the guards are) and if the gate was down to the floor it wouldn't open without scraping the road. When they lock it up at night etc, that bit secures in the down position, to seal the site properly.
