The funny part is that everyone that hates this show will be called racist, homophobic and stuff. Thats current big companies politics. -Buy a beloved franchise -Make random trash films and tv shows -Get profit from peoples nostalgia -People unhappy. Show/film is simply bad. -Say they are stupid, homophobic and racist on every possible social media to silence them. -Repeat until the whole franchise is destroyed(keep the profit) -Buy another one -Here we go again.

That's not fair, not all the new stuff is trash, only like 90%, the fallen order games are fun as hell and clone wars season 7 (pretty sure that was disney) was incredible, rogue 1 was also an s tier movie. That's kinda where the list ends. Also no one criticising these projects for their actual (and numerous) flaws are being called homophobic/racist, its the people who pretend to care about the quality, only to push their agenda/political opinions (usually involving racism/homophobia) that are. Id give an example but I'd have to re-write all this, just look out for channels with thumbnails that all look the same

ForceDuelist, it’s sad but true. We’re caught in this vicious cycle where quality storytelling gets replaced by cash-grab garbage. The nostalgia trap is real, but we can’t let them think this kind of low-effort content is okay.

funkybadlozza1537, fair points. There are some gems like Fallen Order and Rogue One, but they’re exceptions, not the rule. The real fans want quality, and it’s frustrating to be lumped in with those pushing agendas instead of genuine criticism. The struggle is real, but we have to keep calling out the nonsense to hope for better content.

I haven't watched the show, nor do i intend to, i dont believe it is good, but neither is this video. There is only 1 time where you actually referenced the source màterial, instead of making broad statements without examples of scene comparisons, the script is written like a bad english essay. Also, personally, i think the high republic era is a very interesting area of the lore to explore, since it is barely seen in canon outside of jedi survivor
