I got laid off in the same way as you, worked for 6 years. I told myself, they didn't deserve me anymore. I got 25 interviews after that, got two offers, and accelerated my career to become a manager in just 2 years. It sucked in the beginning but belief will move mountains! BELIEF!

Don't worry Logesh. You'll get thru it. Been thru it many times since 2016 with mortgage to pay, 2 kids in college (now) and 1 special need daughter. Had to accept any job offer even if the pay is not that good, to the extent of accepting pays that's only 1/3 of my previous. And 6 years later (now), still managed to provide for the family. So, hang tough. Stay positive and things will get better. I'm sure Rachel will always be by your side thru thick and thin. God bless.

I also got laid off end of August 2023. Even though I could I understand the reason, same as you, the delivery of the bad news was the one that hurt the most - no emotion, cold, no compassion. I've worked for this company for almost 15 years, and all of sudden I felt like a trash - an important part of my life all of sudden lost. I haven't made any attempt to apply for a new job and the reason is that I just want to take a rest and try to ask myself what do I really want to do, but I feel so guilty of not having any work, even though financially I'm not in a critical situation to find a job real soon, but also lose some motivation of trying to find one. I've been trying to make use of this "free time" to be more productive, but most of the time I'm failing. Hopefully a little bit little it will get better. At the same time, I just have to really let go my anger, as it's not doing me any favor. Good luck to you Kumar. I'm sure you'll do well in whatever you put your time and mind.

@@KumaarFamily As I am sure you know, the "coldness" is all for legal reasons. If you were told "You have done a great job and your contributions are really appreciated and have provided a lot of value. But the business environment has changed and your role is no longer needed" basically too much info for the employee to decide to sue "See, they said I was valuable and they got rid of me rather than judy because I cost more!" But sometimes things slip through! When I was laid off, between notification and last day, I received my final annual review, which started "Another good year for [me]" Thank goodness, if it had been a bad year I might have been, oh wait!

Are you out of your mind when you say "May Allah bless u and ur family always". This guy's not even Muslim. Do legitimate prayers for your fellow Muslim brothers/sisters who are indeed suffering in every part of the world, and can't put food on the table, not for kafirs like him. He'll easily find another job as a non-Muslim and as someone else pointed out earlier that his channel alone can support his living. He also has his wife who works, so he should be perfectly fine.

@alvms85 thanks 🙏🏻. But still trying hard to get hire for a job. (got a comp "pre-hired" me, offered me package & remuneration all in letter offer, but after 2 days pulled back gave me lame reason that i am overqualified, I was shock as they ady knows my background & experiences in my CV. I was being FFK by that China based technology company in KL for lame reason. I have did my best, done my part by passing 3 rounds of interviews, did an industry research homework the 1st interviewer requested me to do for them, took me 1 week 24x7 to complete into Ms. PPT deck, passed 3rd round with their CEO... and yet, they just pulled off the offer for 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Luck just not shine on me, that's the msg i got. Getting hired is the only strength to pave me through these tough time, and pace me forward for better self and also helps me provide better for my daughter moving forward. A solid job is my only savior (tbh, the 1st week i was struck by my ex wife of this decision, i did think of ending my life, cuz to me i was devoted to my family, wife and kid is my 200% focus in life, but sadly my ex wife jumped ship during moment i was facing toughest period. Now, i have started to embrace the fact these are happening, and i need to live better, but I am still lacking of luck.

This is my story. For 20 years, I was contented working in a college, by an amazing management. Not all the best and rosy, yet, the best company. Then, company was sold for merging with another college. All broke loose. Horrible bosses, work long hours, can’t take leave, work from home etc etc. My lady boss, a rude, brutal woman, until I left. Along the years, I took up yoga and last year at 58, I started my zen, Nava’s Zen. Proud of how I worked out my life. Life is such and surprisingly, will lead to better paths. ❤❤❤

Thanks for sharing the story, I lost jobs twice in my decades of career, the last one did gave me some anxiety, but I pump myself up each day by telling myself that what does not kill me will make me stronger, that gave the fighting spirit to stay healthy and focus, and stick to the plan. Within a couple months I got a job thru friends network at lower pay, and 1.5 years later, I hopped to a job with one of the top companies in silicon valley that it became my best , and most lucrative one in my entire career. Had I not got layoff, I wouldn't have gotten that. so, you viewers are right, this could be the beginning of your best chapter. Best of luck!!

Relax, breathe, and recall that this will pass........what you are feeling is totally normal and is a process that you have to go through but believe me everything will be OK. Exactly the same thing happened to me 4 years ago after 8 years in the company, with a family of 5 (my wife, three kids, and myself.......in hindsight.....it pushed to me where I am right now.........CEO of my own company with 12 employees and a business growing every single year since I started 4 years ago.........so my advice is get a plan and rely on your wife for support.....she is your best partner on this....

I was compensated well and am lucky to have found a new job within a few weeks. Stay strong, and keep looking out for that new role but pace yourself. Hi Kumar, I too was a hardworking employee (been running 2 roles for 8 months after one officer transferred with no replacement, no pay raise). And one Friday I got a call I will be laid off, that I wasn't needed from Monday. Not to mention there was another woman who did bare minimum but our manager's flirty chick who was perfectly fine. It was really hard for me to find a job soon given that economy of country was crumbling. I was living with my parents for months, totally down. I was very upset. Today, I don't spend a single second thinking about that place. Things happen for good, they don't deserve hardworking loyal employees who quitely run projects on their back. Be strong, you got this ❤

I got laid off in 2019 after basically went full gear from freshie for 5 years and kept loyal for all the company gave and needed me. Still remembered it was heartbreaking to you know you dont have place in that position basically overnight. I was scared, undecided, with wife n 2 kids to support. But that was the turning point for me, it allowed me to spend a lot of time with my family, I've never thought the lost days from my working was fully spent on just reconnecting back with my whole family. Life's hard for sure, you need to switch over full frugal life overnight. Saving here and there, working odd jobs, and wondering/having anxiety and praying for better days. I'm working back now and recovering back my financial ability bit by bit, so I'm hoping and praying you will too. Send lots of love to your wife, kids and your family. They are lucky to have you, and you are blessed with good people around. Cheers from Malaysia :)

A. Focus on one things at a time, you have lot of things in your mind .... What you can do is rather than starting everything, focus on one thing and see how it goes and improvement you can . B.. before starting anything like merchandise see if people are willing to buy it , otherwise spending time in things which you don't have buyers around and you spend you can attract a lot of things which will bring you lot of failures. C. If you have intention to help people through your channel, you will get success. D. Regarding trauma and anxiety, Focus on healing it , if you blocks around Money , then you will eventually try things but will hit roadblock again . Asians people have lot of abundance blocks , so what you are going through after leaving your job is one aspect of it , if you don't resolve the trauma ,you will eventually in future again attract it again . E. Start learning things like law of attraction or different concepts of power of subconscious mind , secret etc to understand how to create the reality you want ,rather than just directly start working. F. Read books like adhyshanti : falling into grace :insight into suffering to understand more of your trauma . Start simple things like mediation etc to your daily routine to learn to let go of negative thoughts because all thought create reality. G. God is with you , and you yourself are God . Wish you well for this journey.

Loved Kuala Lumpur and I took a dozen photos of the Twin Towers. I then took a long bus drive that crossed the bridge to Singapore. I saw more of the lovely southern parts of Malaysia. Sorry about your job loss. I learnt about passive income early on in my career and when I was retrenched, my side hustles were making me double what I was earning at my full time 9-5 job. I also did not have a family to take care of. I guess your KZbin channel was your side hustle. Best of luck to you!

I know it’s easy to feel frustration or negativity but this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. This is just another opportunity~ maybe a blessing in disguise~ just take things one step at a time, as I’m sure you will and are doing. You could also even setup a blog along with your shop. You’ve been rightfully proud to share your family histories~ that could also tie into your shop and spark more interest by sharing common things 🇲🇾 🇲🇾 👌
