The play starting at 12:45 is what is fundamentally wrong with this game and game(s) prior. Here's the rundown below -Terrible touch my TOTY Mbappe basically but recovered nicely by the USER -Opponent USER terribly dives in with his main CB and takes him completely out the play (assumably) -Because of point above, Opponent USER has to switch to RB to now cover multiple options which he fails to do successfully (which should atleast result in an opportunistic play) -After bottling it on two separate occasions with his USER defending, VVD magically gets back into the play -VVD tackles the attacker who is in on net, FROM BEHIND without a foul or miscue. Just instant success. So much more can be said regarding, braindead GK runouts, AI defending being a Atletico Madrid simulator, shit passing mechanics, bounce backs... I mean the list goes on and on and on. Just an infuriating flawed mess. It is beyond me titles (which were all flawed in their own way) from like Fifa 10-18 are so much more logical than the last few years......

Champs does not have a skill gap this year. It's about who has more stamina and can abuse more mechanics 😂 even against a noob, you look away for a second, you concede, no moment to breathe. I am only sticking with rivals and sb from now on.

Rivals is becoming annoying as well, I don't know if it really is a thing but since someone put out that you have a gameplay advantage if you play home so many players quit out in the beginning if they are the away team and it takes up to 5 minutes to get a game going. But yeah rivals gameplay is still 10 times better and more responsive than champs.

@morpheus_313 yes faster and more responsive. Also rivals div 3/2 are a breeze if you are a decent+ player, and the rewards are really worth it. I make more from div 3/2 rewards than from champs.

Even in unranked friendlies, I feel people are just drowning in sweat. I'll admit, I'm trash at this game and it's my first FC/Fifa game ever, but man I don't even know if EA has any sort of skill level matchmaking...I played rivals just for the objectives and even at the bottom division I was getting destroyed constantly. It's a hard game to get into if you're new to sports/FC games. I do enjoy squad battles though because I can test out different players and adjust the difficulty accordingly.

@@kvedz 1- If you want better results, try to improve your team and have appropriate roles +s assigned to each player. Don't put defenders on any other role than defender. 2 having good connection is crucial. 3 try to play slowly and be composed on defence, you have to know to be aggressive and when to be reserved, cuz defense AI can carry you immensely. 4 and finally, use ps+ to your advantage. Finesses and powershot are incredibly effective. Hope that helped

Yeah I stopped playing this game and moved to call of duty. On Friday I legit got a migraine headache playing against 95 Mbappe, Vini, Hansen and Smith. Had to not finish. This game is awful on console and I don’t have a PC.

I feel exactly the same way about gameplay comparing rivals and champs. playing div one opponents in rivals is easier and way more consistent than champs. champs feels like I have no control over half the things happening. living in germany btw, so where you are doesn't seem to make a difference.

Game felt good first week, with a patch it might’ve gone good. But the feeling that you can’t get in behind is so frustrating. Just passing around the top 3rd is so boring and frustrating. If they scrapped 50% of the useless animations, nerfed the defensive ai or just set it to professional for games and improved the offensive AI, I would problably still just play squad battles because at least they don't keep the ball for 10mins and griddy after a corner goal or a trivela from 30 meters out.

Stopped playing the game religiously after FIFA 23. Came back last year during FUT Birthday, played a few games and decided I'd only do packs and objectives for the rest of the year because the gameplay was so bad. Didn't buy 25 and won't be getting it even if/when it comes out for free. Just quit bro, UFL is out soon and the vast majority of your viewer base will follow you anywhere, they watch you for you, not the game.
