I told him I wanted to lose my virginity and want that to happen with him. He was skeptical at first because he wanted to make sure this was something I actually wanted. At first I was going to say: please Ladies dont go searching for romance on tinder... but listening to this story - this guy could have been on any other dating platform, too. Its weird how he acted, but based on the stories you usually tell us it was a bit of a red flag (in the cultural context) that he hadnt asked her to be his girlfriend, yet, at that time they went through with the intimacy. Also "I have taken viriginity before"... no. And the "oh" during the phone call... Us Ladies we should always listen to our gut. My first time was with a guy, who was not a nice guy. But I intended it that way. I always thought nice guys were a bit of a turn off. I dont regret it. I enjoyed myself. But I have grown up and I would now rather never have s** again and be only with nice guys, than put myself through another drama with a bad boy. He seemed like he had a play book even in the first several dates. The first date definitely felt way too scripted and strategic down to "the basket" comment as being a memory of their first date. Sure, it's always nice when a man remembers things you say, but it almost sounded like he was too quick to suggest a second date that aligned with her stated wish as if he was making it his job to assess everything she said to come up the next scenario that could amplify his impact versus actually having had his own thoughts about her and coming up with his own ideas on how he'd like to spend time with her. Honestly, in a country with a three date rule, for him to make that third date be with his friends at a pool party way before they have established that they wanted to date or move forward seriously, seems even more contrived. I have not seen a picture of her, but assume from the story time intro that she is a "foreigner" from his perspective -- he is in essence coming across as showing her off then as someone he can pull while not actually making any sort of heartfelt commitment to a relationship with her. He tried to mix in so many green lights to overshadow the red flags that I'm not surprised the hidden agenda wasn't as obvious to her. I'm just surprised that he didn't also put in the work to have a scripted ending. Like, if he has any pride in his work -- enter snark here -- he should at least have been man enough to have a strategic conversation about not wanting to move forward in their situation-ship to soften the ending out of a crumb of human decency. Such an insult added to injury to make a girl spend additional time traveling and waiting for a meet up to then just not show up and gaslight her about it later. To top it all off, he legit had a friend (the girl from the pool party) call her up to test the waters and find out if she is a doormat with boundary issues who'd let his skank ass back. Like, strategy fail a third time and now even your friends know you're a spineless, self-involved asshole with no respect for others.

Lol i did something similar, though it was not my first time. But my ex and i had to do long distance for a while and i made one really good guy friend during that time. We were mostly trauma bonding, me with my long distance relationship and him with his. It was purely platonic but we were really close for about a year and a half and my ex was suspicious af of him (funny cuz he ended up being the cheater, not me). And all my friends and i were doing pre-drinks at this guy friend’s house before the club, but it started pouring outside and we got pretty drunk so we decided not to go to the club anymore. And my friend and i were on the balcony smoking and we randomly started kissing. Everyone left after that and we slept together that night but decided to stay just friends afterwards. Next day on the 14th my ex calls to basically try and check what i was up to and so i told him about the night before. And oh boy. Man literally started crying and hung up the phone. And no i did not feel sorry, not one bit. He actually started dating the girl he cheated on me with and that went south after a while, so a few months ago here he was in my dms (after about 3 years since our breakup) asking to take me out on a date. I also wanted my first time to be special. I'm not religious and I was also not looking for eternal love neither just someone special who also thinks I'm special who I can trust and who will be gentle and treat me well. I waited until I was 25 then started to give up hope because I was simply not finding that special person. I was in the process of slowly convincing myself that life is not a Disney movie and let go of the dream of the special first time and just lose it to someone sort of decent. I mean I have like 3 different times I consider to be my first time bcz my literal first experience was a particularly nasty, fairly violent assault so I don't really count that. However, that did put me in the unhealthy mindset of "fuck it, not like I have anything to lose or give away now so I might as well." We went in the guestroom, it was a shit show, it took him forever to get my jeans off & then like it was so little that at first I thought he had just stuck 2 fingers in there & that was hella surprising bcz back when I did date & sleep w/ men (been 13 years since now, thank gawdd) they would all almost always comment about how if they "didn't know better they wouldve thought that I was a virgin bcz of how tight I am," but anyways the size wasn't even really the issue it was just the mechanical strokes and the fact that he came in under 3 minutes but I mean a first time is what it is....I didn't really regret it at the time & we continued to fck around on and off for a lil bit whenever id stay over at the one kid in that friend group's house who had a mom who didn't give af. Now I do low key regret it and not just bcz he was a man bcz I don't regret sleeping w/ 3 of the 5 guys that i've been with but w/ him the sex was bad and pointless. Then my 5th was my first semester of college and he was fun, we broke several dorm beds, just overall really cool guy, but at that point I had also started to full on see this woman & we were in a situationship & that made me realize that I didn't really wanna be w/ men at all. The first woman that I went all the way with in college is the one other person who I consider my "first," and yes that was INCREDIBLE! She was so dope, so respectful, such a good listener, and the sex was absolutely amazingggg! We didn't date date bcz she was a grad student and I was a baby-gay who was just discovering who I was & so she said that I needed to 'play' around a bit and she was right but we still hungout & fucked around till end of my sophomore year of college when some shit went down & I had to move back to my hometown. To this day though, I think back on that time fondly af & she is still definitely in the top 3 in terms of women who i've let strap me down & deff top 3 overall & either 3rd or 4th best head i've ever had LOL but was also a good mentor or w.e. and like I had let some chicks go down on me before college, and I had fingered several chicks, but Maisie was the first female that I did EVERYTHING and then some with lmfaoo. Never looked back towards men after that. Moved back to my hometown & dated this one chick for a lil bit who turned out to be weird af bcz she cheated on me & thus we broke up after she found out that I was already gay & that she hadn't 'turned me out,' or whatever LMFAOO. Then I was in a dope, healthy 6 year relationship from 23--29 but in the end we just weren't right for each other, but that's still the homie. Unfortunately I then ended up in a 14 month relationship w/ this chick who seemed so mfn perfect at the beginning and made me feel feelings i'd never felt but then her mask came off & it turned out she was evil af----lied to me, gaslit me, stole my lifes savings & everything I was making damn near, lied to my pplz about me and then got mad when they didn't believe her, cheated, tried to have me baker acted twice and succeeded once, called the cops 7 times for no reason but tried to get me arrested 2 of those times even though I dropped like 5 stacks on a good lawyer for her as soon as we got together to try and keep her out of jail/rehab but she really still tried to take my freedom away SMH & that's not even the half of it. Now i'm enjoying being single and deff. gonna stay that way for at least a year or two. Focusing on my business, got a nice lil across the country "vacay bae" who came down to go on vacation w/ me & planning on another one so that's a vibe but neither of us want relationships, gotta new platonic bestie who is fun to be around, and 1 old friend that I may smash from time to time but still looking for a lil local fwb but deff nothing more serious. I realize that this went SO FAR past answering the question but oh well LOL my baddd.
