Hi just want some people to know that witchcraft ≠ Wicca. Not all witches are Wiccan or pagan

People don't seem to realise that we need mediums like music, art and clothing to project our self image, it's our way of managing ourselves and how we interact with the world around us. Without it we would lead a very hollow existence and we should never be discouraged by anyone, I have zero qualms getting in the face of anyone who tries.
@timmiller19547 ай бұрын
No such word as "mediums". The plural of medium is ''media".

I can tell a lot of work went into this, and even as a goth of a few years, it was an interesting watch. videos like this will hopefully help to shed some light on our subculture and show people that it’s not only silly but downright incorrect to stereotype us as mean, “evil,” or in need of some sort of help. thank you 🖤 btw, I’ve also met Vision Video, and he’s a great guy!

I was 16 in 88 and was in what people call the Goth scene "i always called it the Death Rock scene" from then until about my mid 30s, i mean i am still who i am i just am not in the scene anymore as in i am old and tired and no longer go out. people equate the Goth scene as being mopey or depressed or whatever but those years were the happiest of my life and i never felt more like i was myself. i miss getting made up more than anything, i can not even put onto words how alive i felt when i was made up and in my element. and yes as people always try to te;; me i can still get done up and i can still go out if i wanted to, but its not the same, i can never see ME in the mirror any more, i can never match the picture i have of myself in my head any more. and that is fine i understand it and i accept it, it is just a reality of life. people miss when they were young and beautiful. something that always got me in all of those years was how there constantly people i heard trying to define what Goth and Punk were, and it is almost always cringe. and i suppose i am guilty of it as well because i never try to explain it to people or debate people about it but i of course have my own opinions about things and i daintily have my own elitisms about things as well, i see A LOT of young people that i simply think to myself that is not MY goth. i guess i am pretty traditionalist about it and A LOT of things started becoming very common in the early 90s that i did not care for. even the fact that Goth stores exist is iffy for me, i mean most people are not going to make an awesome pair of clubbing boots themselves and i understand getting cool things at the store but most people seem like they do not create anything themselves now. for me for all those years one of the fun activities to do to keep yourself busy all week when it is not a club night or whatever was to go hunting for things you could make something cool with with. either way just enjoy it while you can, and enjoy youth you will never believe how fast it goes and you no longer see yourself in the mirror. it is even worse if you are a straight goth pretty boy. then you are just an old man.

I remember the goths and rivet heads of the 80s....good times🖤🎃💀🎃 Regarding religion.... Believe what you want. Or don't, there's no rules! Politics.... Most of us are left leaning to some degree. Most of us are anti racist, anti homophobic... Many of us are veggie or vegan... But not all. Most of all it's music based sub cult. And it's FUN!! 🎃💀 AND...... Vision Video ROCK🤘🖤

I love wear monochrome Black outfits also Black with Gray, White, Purple, Burgundy, Green , and Blue . I enjoy Goth Rock, Dark Wave, Post Punk and Death Rock.Goths can listen to other Genres of music is foundation is the music not the fashion that's optional. Goths don't only Goth music that's false on this doc.
@DangPopProductions Жыл бұрын
Hi, you are very correct Goths don't exclusively listen to goth music! Primarily at the beginning of the doc I was speaking in generalisations which should have been clearer, that's my fault. Also the part with AJ I did put a note on screen explaining that "exclusively" was the incorrect word.

Sadly Goths of this day and age seem to tie their identity exclusively into Instagram and how many followers they get on social media which would have been unheard of by the original 80's DIY Goths who were less narcissitic and more interested in music

The problem I have with people aligning with the concept of "satanism" is that it plays into the narrative. Why not just say "secular humanism" - this moves one away from the more obvious problems associated with satanism. The needless baggage and frankly some of the weirdos attracted to satanic subculture should be far from desirable. If you don't want to invite problems into your life, don't paint a target on your back.

Pretty good documentary. People should wear what they want and present themselves in the way they want, as long as it isn't harming others. There is no god and there is no Satan, so there is no good and evil. It is just us sentient humans and we should treat other humans the way we want to be treated because it WILL come back on us. You shape the world you want to live in, so why not make it a kind, accepting and safe world?
@realRatRat9 ай бұрын
not a good outlook. if your only reason for being a good person is because you don’t want any bad acts to come back on you, you are not really a good person. good and evil are very real whether you believe in a god or not, it all boils down to whether or not you have empathy-and practice it
@kunchong56403 ай бұрын
@@realRatRat Logically speaking good and evil are not real because all morality is subjective and therefore any concept of good or evil is artificial dependent on the cultural perspective you view "morally-charged" actions from.
@realRatRat3 ай бұрын
@@kunchong5640 morality is objective, religion or no religion. all you need to do is look at the results an action will produce (does it overall increase or decrease the mental/physical health of all involved?)
